Publicity for Blog?

Hi Everyone -

New WF member here with a question on increasing visibility for my blog. I just launched last week and have had about 1200 unique visitors (according to my web host's analytics) and about 600 facebook friends.

I'd like to grow this into something a little bigger and possibly attract advertisers, though I'm running into some trouble gaining publicity for my site. It falls under the dating/relationship/humor categories and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for getting the word out about the site. My budget is pretty tight, so the less $, the better.

Any and all recommendations are welcome!

    How about a humorous free guide to dating? Or a free quiz to find out what sort of date you are? These kinds of things do really well on reddit and other social bookmarking websites. They can be done for free to of course

      Depends on your goals. If the idea is to get the word out and not sales StumbleUpon is a good on and inexpensive.
      Also you can pay a tiny fee for commenting and bookmarking on microworkers and mturks.
      Plus there are Fiverr gigs where the workers will like your page and share it with friends and in many cases this boost in your popularity can help you grow even more.
