Writers for commision?

Do you know where I can find writers that are willing to do on commision instead of a fixed price? For example, he writes me 2 articles on a blog and he earns a percentage of the earnings from that blog. Are there good freelance sites that I could find those kind of writers on?

Thanks,

Donat

If writers are going to write for the amount of money they can earn in the future, as a result of sales that are generated with their written work, they would not need you.

People tend to write for others and make their clients a lot of money, up until they realize the value of their work, then they will never again write for clients.

Try contacting some prisons. Ask for the warden in charge of creative writing and see if anyone is interested. Inmates need something to look forward to.

It just doesn't work that way, Donat.

Why would I write for your blog on that basis rather than for my own, where I earn 100% of the takings?

You're not bringing enough to the table, unless possibly you (a) prove that you have enormous traffic I can't reach any other way, and (b) have an independently audited way of dividing the money. Then, possibly, we have something to talk about.

(I don't mean you personally, obviously ... and I don't write for other people any more anyway, but you see what I mean?).

Yes, I agree. You need to address the reward and risk ratio... at the moment, the risk is 100% with the writer.... regards Allen

Yeah, I get what you mean, but it wouldn't be constant writing. It would be a sniper site with only two articles and that's it. As for the why he/she wouldn't do that by his/her own, maybe the writer doesn't know how to make and rank the site. But I get your point. I see how one wouldn't be keen to accept that offer.

      Thanks for your answers.

You can always PM writers with the offer though. If the product is good and the site will be getting traffic there may be some that will go for it. Never hurts to ask. I've been offered stranger forms of payment... I recently got sent a neat t-shirt as payment for a short article... another person sent me some really cool pens.

Your best bet would be to start an affiliate program.
