Simple way to integrate pay page w merchant acct

Greetings Warriors,
I am working with a client who is raising funds for a charity. I need a super SIMPLE way to accomplish these steps after an optin page: (the less steps the better, the less development the better)
  1. Describe different choices of products/services they can get in exchange for different levels of donation
  2. Give them a list of donation options OR let them designate what $$ amount they want to make to the cause
  3. Connect client's merchant account
  4. Process payment
  5. Deliver digital products or steps to get services.
Here is more complex example: FREE Book of something similar. (At least I think it's more complex.) Is it complex? What words do I need to use to describe what I want to a developer?

I have used Clickbank as a payment processor/product delivery system in the past. I don't know if Paypal is an option for the various levels of donations I want to make available.

    i would definitely use paypal with amember.

    you can automate everything with paypal and amember to give different levels and access to different people.

    its easy when you get the hang of it.

    ALSO - i would use an auto directing drop down rather than the radio button for them to choose the amount. that would convert much better.

    Why pay for Amember - there are plenty of free platforms you can do this with..I use Delavo Gold - but the free version is MORE then enough to suit your needs..

    You can't simply "connect the merchants account number". There is apparently a disparity and the dozens of processors don't necessarily use the same system. Some might not work with ANY gateway. Think of a merchant account like cell phone service. BOTH SEEM to work the same, and can call the same areas, but a particular phone SERVICE may not work with a particular phone.

      This is the plan: (normal website - not mini-site)
      1. Optin page
      2. sales letter with 'bonus gift' choices where 'order box' would be
      3. Based on bonus gift choice, routed to Paypal page with gifts they chose and associated price
      4. From Paypal, routed to unique download page with their particular bonus gifts.
      5. Autoresponder kicks in
