Why wouldn't Facebook let you turn off Questions?

Just to keep people on their site? Well, that's my theory.

Questions are ridiculously annoying. My feed is full of them and I'm yet to see one useful question being asked. It's always "What's your favorite blah.. blah?" And FB won't let you turn it off. I don't understand why this is to be an essential feature.

Your Thoughts?

    I was searching for magic turn off button too but couldn`t find it either. I quess it`s not possible. Facebook has many things I don`t like. I just ignore those questions, they are all stupid and the answers available are even more

      You can do more than ignore. If you are on Firefox, there's an add-on called FB Purity, and there's a similar extension on Chrome too, that hides this crap.

    Oh, that is irritating. And you can't hit "Never Show", either. FB is getting as bad as Myspace was, although I've never really been a fan of the plain-vanilla FB, anyway.

    I'm definitely going to install that plug-in right now, though.

    BTW, AdBlock Plus is an excellent plug-in, as well.
