try using google adwords. It is a keyword estimator tool that allows you to see the keywords suitable for your website with the monthly volume of search. You can also pick the country you want to target and see the keywords that they are using.

I type the keyword into google and look for sponcered adds on the page, if there is some then i go for it because someone is paying money for this certain keyword. If they are spending money, then there is money to be made for that keyword. Just make sure the number of searches for the keyword and the competition is worth your time and efforts. Hope this helps my friend

There are many factors that determine whether a keyword is good...money potential, search volume, competitiveness, relevancy, etc. First I would type the keyword into the google adwords keyword tool: https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer
See how much the search volume is for broad & exact match. If you are considering this as your main keyword, be sure to also consider overlapping keywords that you could easily target as well.

Your question can't be answered - what do you mean by 'good'????

    High searches?
    Buying words?
    Low competition?
    Highest paying adverts on PPC?

    "good" (vague)... ?
    well...
    1. If the keyword is part of your niche target
    2. If it has high search volume (2000+)
    3. If it has low competition (-1000 page result)
    ... then its good

The definition of good keyword will vary depending on what you intend to do with it.

If it is for a niche minisite then it would have one criterea. If it was for an authority site then it would most certainly have a different criterea. Then here's autoblogging - yes you guessed it another criteea.

Maybe you intend to pay for ads to that keyword, that will certainly change your decision making.

So in short you need to further define your question.

One is for sure, whatever you choose in your way of keywords your whole website, blog or ad campain may well live or die on that decision.
