Question About SiteMaps For SEO

Let's say you have a website with some static pages (not a blog). But attached is a WP blog with it's own set of pages.

Should you have two sitemaps? A WP sitemap and a sitemap for your site?

Or is only one neccesary?

Thanks to the Warriors in advance for their help!!!

  • What's a sitemap lol? Google will find your pages if you've structured them correctly. just lose the sitemaps and adjust the settings in you Google webmaster tools accordingly based on how big your site is.

Googles sole job is to find new webpages so let it do its job naturally. Plus, SiteMaps that tell Google how popular a page is can really mess up your ranking if not set up correctly.

If a sitemap is a must, set up a blank html page with hyperlinks to each page. This way you're not TELLING google what to index but more like helping them along
