Do you put PLR on your website?

Just wanting some opinions, I personally have added some of the clickbank affiliate review plr's from the product websites, but have never put any kind of plr on my websites other than that. I would think that it would be ok to post PLR every once in a while (PLR with good writing, spelling and grammar). What do you guys do?

I do, I usually spin them or put them to use in other means though

Very rarely I have used PLR as it is on my sites, 99% of the time I will rewrite them before posting them. You can post them as they are, but it is better for your site and your ranking if you rewrite them to make them unique to your site.

I have only done this a few times when I was just feeling super lazy...

I try to always rework it in some way, either spinning or rewriting, sometimes both.

But, as for a tip to get around the "google duplicate content" hassle you can simply add a unique introduction and conclusion to the article... I have done that using EZA articles with good success... Of course I always leave the link intact (the authors)...

    Good Luck

I never use PLR as is. I always rewrite it first to make it unique. I do recommend the use of good PLR though, as it cuts down on research and brainstorming ideas for your content.

I am also one who likes to rewrite her PLR. I find it still saves me a ton of time, but I like to have it in different words just to make it more unique. I think this is also more important if you're putting it on a site were more of your personality shines through in the writing.

That said, I have used it as-is occasionally and I don't think it affects your site negatively if you have other unique content on there alongside the PLR. It can be a good way to flesh sites out quickly. So I don't think you need to worry, but try to mix it up and put up some rewritten PLR or unique articles alongside it.

I don't use PLR on my own sites at all anymore. If I buy PLR it's always for separate sites.

Truth be told, PLR good enough to meet my standards without editing is so rare I might as well just say No to the question in the subject line.

I have this thing, and I know I'm not the only one, about putting readable, factually correct, interesting content on my sites. Unchanged, most of the PLR I've acquired misses on at least one of those criteria and often two or all three.

There are exceptions, usually full-length products that the original author is rereleasing as PLR.

There are a handful of writers here on the forum for whom I'm happy to make an exception, I'm happy to say. Even then, I'm likely to make the page look more unique by adding two pieces of content. One is the main event and the other is a bonus. My theory is that even though both pieces are likely found online, finding both on the same page is unlikely and may ward off the duplicate content filter to some extent.

I used to use PLR for my sites (before I could afford to outsource well written articles, and if I didn't have the time to write articles myself). Not anymore though.

I rarely even find PLR worth rewriting. I'd find it faster to write an article from scratch, than to rewrite a PLR article and do the extra research needed to make it good enough to use.

For me the problem with most PLR articles is that they're just too short, and lacking any real information - I'd probably use PLR alot more if the articles were 700+ words, and actually contained some useful content.

That's the same thing I sad too about PLR. Quick question for you . When you do edit your PLR content and submit to article directories, how many of them a day do you submit?

Sometimes I'll use PLR, but usually I will rewrite it or spin it so that it is unique. If you have a members area, you can post useful articles, etc. without rewriting, especially if the content is protected. That way you don't get any bad side effects from Google.

My problem with plr is the lack of quality plr.
