EZA says I've "Run out of submissions."

LOL ... I just submitted an article to EZA. The third or fourth in a long time.

Formerly, I was an "Expert." I don't know how in the Sam Hill I became an expert author with them, but they sent me some email a few years back that said I was and "Expert Author." I presumed that came with a lot of rights and privileges. Like the ability to submit more content and make them more money.

Now unfortunately, I am a poor beginner, relegated to the unholy status of "Basic."

Does that mean I can no longer use the secret handshake I learned? What else does it mean?

Here is their message ...
You have run out of article submissions.

Your account will be reviewed for an upgrade when all currently submitted articles are reviewed by our editorial staff.

"Expert" means that you've had an article accepted ... everyone becomes "expert" while they're still "basic". The two are not mutually exclusive, nor indeed incompatible, at all ... secret handshake notwithstanding.

You get 10 submissions (of which you've already used the 10th, by the sound of it - or they think so, anyway) and then they "assess" you and do one of two things:-

    (i) Upgrade you to "platinum" (worth having, because it gets you much faster approval and publication speeds, if you submit articles regularly, and permanently removes the limitation on submissions);

(ii) "Upgrade" you to "basic plus" (which means "failed platinum", really, and that you get 10 more submissions, after which they do another assessment, and so on, but only ever 10 at a time until they decide to upgrade you to "platinum").

    Good luck!

I think that might be "GoDaddy" you're thinking of, there, rather than "EZA"?

They try to charge you anything for the "Platinum?"

She already told me I was too old, tired and ugly.

Nooooo ... "platinum" and "diamond" (another less significant upgrade, if and when you qualify and apply for it) are both free. They only ever try to charge you for "premium" (and all you get for it, really, is "scheduled publication").

Boy, that was a fast edit you did. I was getting ready to see if she was an oil painting. Dearly Beloved tells me I need an oil change, or is it just that she needs a change.

Thanks for the info. I've never been able to figure that place out.

Wow, that was a fast "look at the reply" you did: that comment was there for all of 20 seconds (I decided it was just possible someone might manage to be offended by it or to take it the wrong way ... experience is teaching me that you can't be too careful! ).

I completely agree, you can't be too careful. Why you think I got married again. I wasn't.

EZA is going through all kinds of changes, they are being super restrictive and even taking down old articles that have been previously approved. They are trying to get back into google's good books!
