Best SEO plug in for WP blog?

What's up Alan,

Depends on what you mean by 'SEO Plugin' and exactly what you want
it to do. If you're talking about on page seo and just need a plugin
to opitmize your blog, I HIGHLY recommend WordPress › HeadSpace2 SEO « WordPress Plugins

I've used All-N-One for a few of my blogs about a year ago and it doesn't
do nearly as much as Headspace. I personally would never run a site without
it.

There is a little learning curve though (especially if you thought all-n-one was

by Cenay is all you'll need though. She goes over everything you need to know.

EDIT: I forgot to add that you can export all of your all-n-one settings into headspace.
So you don't have to do everything all over again.

I've always used SEOpressor as it really seems to work for me. As far as the plugins you use there is only so much any of them can do. All in one SEO does the needed things, it just doesn't do it for you, you have to plug in the information. Here is my basic breakdown of what you need to make sure you do:

1) Keyword in the Title and URL
2) Keyword in the h1 & h2 tag (if possible)
3) Bold, italicize and underline your first 3 instances of the keyword.
4) 2-5% keyword density with relevant niche related keywords mixed in there. Minimum 400 words, preferably more.
5)Keyword in the tags
6)If there is an image (which there should be) make sure the keyword is in the alt tag or basically the title of the image.
7)Keyword in the last sentence of the post
8)Keyword in the title/description (all in one SEO)

If you do all of that you will be just fine. That is what has worked for me. Usually all of those plugins like SEOpressor or the one you mentioned just do some of those things like alt tags and bolding keywords for you. There isn't some magic thing that they do to make your on page any better.

All in One SEO or Platinum SEO seem to be the best SEO plugins going around. I suggest you use one of those. You should at least understand the basics of SEO so you shouldn't need a plugin that does everything for you.

Until recently I always used All in One SEO but updated to Platinum SEO and think it is a little better.

Plugins like SEO Pressor are not necessary if you are aware of and follow the basic SEO principles. You should try to get the hang of doing these things manually yourself (they take about 2mins on a normal post) as you won't always have a plugin there to get your back and SEO is an important skill to learn.

I still use All In One SEO...has always worked well and I'm comfortable with setting it up. There may be plugins that do 'more', but I do some of the work manually on the themes I have anyway.

We're using WordPress SEO by Yoast and are very happy with it.

I use the All-in-One SEO plugin on all my sites. It's easy for me to use and you just plug in the information and you're set. It's also easy to change the information if you want to update something.

I've tried Platinum SEO and it just didn't click with me.

i am newbie and i have heard that platinum seo is the best..so i used it in one of my blocks and i had good results.it is also easy to set it up

I use All in one Seo with Clickbump SEO on all my sites! Works the Ballz!
