I´ve made my first squeeze page that uses aweber,
does It look any good?

Hi Challe,
just had a look at your squeeze page - it's quite nice.

I really liked:
1. simple design
2. quick load time
3. Text - nothing to salesy
4. The graphics (clean and simple)

I suggest:
1. You try a couple of different headlines (do some testing and tracking)

but to be clear, nice page - really good first attempt.

  You can use Google's website optimizer to do split testing of your squeeze page.
  
  It's free.
  
  You can test different variations of your squeeze page testing such things as the headline.
  
  They have plenty of videos and other content to get you started and learn how to test your web pages.

Hey Karl

I like it, clean, simple but effective.

One tip, widen your table so everything fits "above the fold" (meaning the visitor doesn't have to scroll to see your form) this is proven to increase conversions.

  Looks real good, very professional. My only advice -- and this is very minor -- is make it more conversational, and less formal, as if you were just talking to someone face to face and giving them advice. For example, change "you will" to "you'll", and change "here is" to "here's". Like I said, it's minor, but it definitely couldn't hurt. Best of luck!

  This isn't minor. It's a really excellent point. Throw "The Elements of Style" out the window. When you are writing sales copy you have to write the way people speak. They will trust you more.
  
  Also, this is going to sound really silly but I'll say it anyway...you offer "13 Books In All."
  
  I'm NOT superstitious, but a ton of folks are....maybe offer '12 books and hold one back as a "BONUS!" Or, simply say "Over a DOZEN books in all!"
  
  I know, I know....but some people take their superstitions very seriously...

Yes - I liked it too. The only thing I would change is the word 'professional' to read 'a professionally written eBook, etc'. Also, there's a spelling mistake in the headline and 3rd paragraph.
ie. The word completely.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I´ve put it on several on my lenses
I made a picture of the sign up form ( another good advice from this forum )
and did a html link to my homepage.

Is this ok, or should I put a "klick here" picture on top of the sign up form (on the image) since they might try to sign up on the image If you know what I mean.

Yes, make the page wider and keep everything above the fold, especially the opt-in form.

Also, a suggestion for your headline:

"Why Spend Money On Self Development When You Can Get It FREE!"

Karl, that is very slick. Well done buddy!

You can split text with AWeber if you have over 100 names in your list.

Now, I am nit-picking Karl--I do like your form! But you wanted input so here are just a couple thingies.

There is a little problem with parallel construction in the opening statement. The "quit smoking" thing doesn't fit the syntax with the first three things. It should read something like...

Do you want to boost your self esteem, control your anger, or develop a positive attitude? Would you like to quit smoking or lose weight?

One other tiny, tiny thing:

At the end it says, Here's just some of the ebooks you will receive. If you replace "here's" with "here is" you have, "Here is some of the ebooks..." The problem is that "is" is a singular verb but it is used to describe a plural noun (ebooks). It should read...

"Here are just some of the ebooks..."

Nice and simple. Not much vertical scrolling involved, but maybe try to add a little more content to add some depth. Some call to actions.

I think it looks good, but the only way you will know is by testing...try it out for a bit and see how many opt ins you get and if you're not happy then change a couple of things that have been recommended to you.
