This might be kinda late and I am sure many of you might have already seen this however for those of you who haven't and still use ezinearticles for your link building, affiliate marketing, or leisure might want to read this:

Search Engine Algorithm Changes

Just gave it a good read and I find it very informative and vital if you're part of that mix with some revolutionary changes coming.

Search Engines are very volatile for most people and article directories are no exception...ironically I still want to create an article directory/web 2.0 site lol...just one of those pursuits that might be added to the list. I also know hub pages and ehow had a huge blow.

    Hi Humbledmarket,

I appreciate you were only trying to help but this has been discussed quite extensively here and I believe Chris Knight wrote that originally at the end of February (the 26th to be precise).

    revolutionary changes coming.
I believe a lot have already taken place.

Seriously though, I appreciate you thinking of your fellow Warriors.

I would hate to sound bad about ezine articles, but if they burn in (a non happy place) it woulndt be too soon. I attempted to provide a lot of original articles to them, then had to modify them because they said keywords were too many (they were quoted phrases from google data), too many reference links (I provided these as ref to original source material), rule after rule after rule made it close to impossible to submit to them.

the last sumbit I made they said I couldnt submit because the page I pointed to was a sales page or something like an affiliate site. well it is my own personal website, with no affiliate or other ads on the page. Its the same page as in my signature and as benign as possible ..

Their auto comments or human editors are so stuck up, they deserve no content except for the 300 word pointless articles they seem to give auto approval to.

sorry to rant, but seriously some of the hoops and loops they provide are just ridiculous. GOOD ON GOOGLE!

I love Ezine articles, they sent me a nice coffee cup and always approve my articles right away. The only problem I have is that the only one who made any profit off those articles was Ezine.

Unless you count the cofffee cup.

I haven't used EzineArticles in a long time. I log in to my own account to get ideas for niches I've been in and what to write about, but I never submit anything to them anymore. I've got over 100 articles there gathering dust.

Their time has come and gone.
