What Steven meant was that some accounts that Shay
followed might have been spam accounts that got deleted
by Twitter in the past couple of days.

Shay, I've been following some people for over a year and recently had to re-follow them. I'm not sure why unless it's because I was inactive for most of a year due to personal and family issues.

You could always email Twitter and ask them. Couldn't hurt. It takes a few days but they will get back to you - I mean maybe not this week, because of Xmas, but the sooner you email them the sooner you'll get an answer.

I've emailed Twitter on three occasions for the same incident and I haven't heard back from anyone.

You can try to contact them Shay, but you might have to start all over again with a new account if they don't answer.

Mail twitter - they are changing some things internally for performance IIRC from a blog post a while back and perhaps they are mucking something up.

Twitter has some bugs or hiccups. People's DM count has been going up and down magically with no new DMs. Everytime I refresh the page it will either go up or down. I got a notification today Shay was following me. I was about to beat her up for waiting so long, then I realized she WAS following me before lol.
