You know, it's a funny thing.

Years ago I signed up for all of the most famous marketer's newsletters and I don't think I've ever bought anything through them - I'm cheap, blame me.

However, I remember when they used to give away some nice free stuff, and though some still do this, the majority it seems just don't even work hard at their business model anymore.

For some reason I wake up every morning, check my inbox and see tons of messages with hype-laden subject lines promoting software that will make you a million dollars over night, and then you open it up and the guy is always trying to push a crappy bonus through with the product.

I mean, even big marketers are doing this now days. What's even more sad is that many of them are using email templates put out by the makers of a product. I'll get like 3 different emails with the same subject line and content from top gurus, and I'm just really blown away by how much they are "poundin' it" (get your mind out of the gutter

Anyway, what happened to these guys workin' hard at it?

I remember when launches were super cool, had mass build up, free bribes and information and were just really fun an exciting to watch.

Is it because everything's been taught? what's your take?

I've also noticed that the guys who never pushed hype stuff that had warned against $80,000 overnight type products are now pushing these left and right.

I mean, they know people aren't stupid, so why treat them like they are now? At the very least, what happened to the artform of writing your own newsletter copy?

I mean, I thought that's where these guys were professionals, haha

The IM niche is a vicious cycle, and pretty much the blind leading the blind. It's not that hard to make money outside the IM niche, but for some reason every newbie decides to start teaching other people how to make money online.
