Please help with Tracking methods!

Hello everyone,

Currently I am having a really tough time setting up decent tracking methods for everything I am doing.

First, I want to track which keywords are leading to sales in my autoresponders. For example, my process is Adwords Search --> Opt in page --> autoresponders for 30 days.

I am getting sales with my autoresponder messages but I have no idea where they are coming from!

I have been following along with a tutorial from Andre Chaperon from his website. This is the exact page I am working on:

It is the marketingbully.com site from Andre Chaperon. Click on the "free clickbank case study" at the bottom and then go to the "testing and tracking" section.

I have tried Xtreme Conversions. I have had it for like a year, I was able to install it on my server, but I cannot get the program to work for anything. No matter what I try I cannot get the automatic tracking ids to show up (I use dreamweaver). The forum at XC gives some troubleshooting stuff to try but for its a bunch of high tech jargon for someone who isn't familiar with the super technical side of things. I have just about given up on getting that program to work all together.

I want to use GoTryThis but it has been off the market now for like 2 years and who knows when that will be available again.

Basically what I am trying to do is track conversions through my autoresponders in aweber. In Aweber you can create a tracking id that you can associate with each specific landing page. You can then re-insert that same tracking id into the TID of your clickbank hoplink. It is great because by using this method you can make a sale 24 days into your autoresponder messages and know exactly what ad group that visitor came from. As long as you have really tight ad groups (which I do) it is great.

But without tracking the whole thing is practically useless!

So my question is, what other forms of tracking can I use to track sales within an autoresponder to track the visitor all the way back to the ad group and landing page they came through?

I know it sounds complicated but as soon as I get this step figured out it is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Is there a good alternative to GoTryThis or Xtreme Conversions?

Any other advice?

Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Tom G

    You can try 'Affiliate Prophet'...

It allows you to track up to 3 conversions from one tracking link.

That means you could track your autoresponder signup conversions and then if they purchase you would get a second conversion.

    Should solve your problem.

Does all sorts of other cool stuff as well like tracking the amount of time a visitor is on your page by keyword, predicts the winners in as few as 100 unique visitors, and provides a graphical display of where the visitors click off your landing page so you can fix the areas that aren't working.

    Hmmm...

    Where's that affiliate link.

    Good luck.

Wow. No kidding. I never knew that.

Are these product you own or are you an affiliate for these products?

    Hi

I know John Reel has been promising v2 of GTT for yonks but it really looks like it's pretty close to launch now. They have just done a bunch of beta testing (apparently it can now handle millions of clicks a day with ease), so it will hopefully only be a few more weeks.

    Hope that helps,

    Graham

Indeed, GoTryTHIS will be open again for sales again soon. Working on the last details over the next few weeks.

    Thank you!
