Few minutes of motivation...

What do you think it really takes to succeed? I'll tell you what..some failures along the way. I'm not going to write a long post now about what you should do or how to think but the bottom line is when you fail, because you will sometimes, just get up and keep moving. If anything be even more motivated to get there. Success is probably just around the corner and if you give up you'll never taste it. NEVER give up you dreams!

On that note I got creative and put together a short video inspired by one I saw some time ago. This is what some of the most successful people faced before achieving their dreams. But they never gave up...

Hope you enjoy it and motivates you at least a bit.

Great video, nice 3 minutes. But I don't believe in success. I think it is all about hard work, learning and implementing. Success is the result of these three things. When people say to me that you are lucky because you do that or another, I can kill because I never won in the lottery. It is because I worked harder than you, you lazy bugger. Opposite, I lost from the start and all my life was trying to do all my best to make something, so this is about success? I don't think so

I would also get upset if someone said I was "lucky". You might enjoy Brian Tracy's "The Luck Factor"- How to take the chance out of becoming a success.

    Nice video.

    I hate reading a VIDEO though. It's counter-intuitive, imho.

For anyone that does any kind of sport this is an amazing video. Dad takes paralysed son round an ironman course. For those wondering an Ironman triathlon is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and then a marathon. Welcome to the world of the hardcore!

Pure inspiration! Thanks! I always believed that our "failures" are our stepping stones on our road to success. Failures are greatly underestimated. In fact, they are our most valuable assets on this journey, whether we realize it or not.
      Great food for thought! Cheers!

      Sure you can.

It's just amazing what some people achieve with hard work and dedication. We really have no excuse not to be the best we can be.

Thank you all for the nice words!

The willingness to persevere and the discipline to see it through are essential. The upside is that once you've been through it, you are then in a position to teach others from your experiences. Experts are those who have tried and tried and failed and failed and they get to the point where they can share all that they've learnt to others who are in the same position they once were.

Yep, the same message again and again. Success is really about over coming adversity. I would assert that there is NOT a really successful person out the who has not had their name associated with failures early on.

It helps to have your own determination such that you disbelieve the nay-sayers. Imagine if Lucille Ball had quit because of what a teacher had said about her.

Failure breeds success, so long as you learn from it, and keep moving forward.

That's true. Every single successful person I know had some hard times before, yet they overcame all difficulties and kept going. It's said that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and that's so true in all of life's aspects, not particularily the financial one.
