Feedback requested about android app development product

I am not conceding defeat on my iPhone app development eBook, but I do see that I am in late and playing wig the big boys.

The unique thing about my eBook is that I show iPhone and android app development.

Here is what I am thinking. I already have all the material ready, so I could easily create a how to create android apps without programming product in just a few days and have a separate standalone product.

This way, I will be in early on something that could be big, and I already know a lot about android apps.

I could put it on clickbank like my current product, and maybe even modify my iPhone product to promote the android eBook, and make the iPhone one really cheap.

Making money is slower on the android, but competition is less, and as popularity rises, income could really grow.

I'm just thinking that if I establish myself as an android app expert now, it could pay off better than my current eBook

What say you?

Thoughts?

Certainly, you should put it on Click bank before you give up on it.

But how about offering it into other forums. For example, find some of the tech forums and offer it to guys (and girls) who are programming other apps. Maybe you start a ground swell in those communities with your well crafted marketing spin, promising huge money applying their talents.

      Just an idea. Good Luck.

Is your ebook the WSO that you speak about below?

If so, This thread and your WSO are at risk of being deleted because
      Mods/Members frown on self promotion.

You might want to remove your signature when posting about something

I'm not trying to be a a$$hole about it. I Just thought you should know.

PS, If I had a Iphone or and Android I would take your app for a test spin
and give you some feedback although my cell phone is presently located

No, no, not at all promoting my ebook that's my WSO here. Heck, I have enough trouble without crossing the lines here!

What I'm thinking about doing is making an entirely new enhancement or sort of a spinoff of my current WSO. I will probably make it into a new WSO all of its' own.

This may actually answer your question too, Deborah, and I see that I was a little bit vague in my initial post.

What I want to do is create a unique product for how to make money with ANDROID APPS only. There are a lot of good products out there on how to do that with iPhone apps, my own included, but I couldn't find one (other than my current one) on Clickbank, and, moreover, there isn't one at all on Clickbank that focuses ENTIRELY on Android apps.

I've already got all the content, I just need to do some updating, maybe do a WSO to get some testimonials, and get a website going.

My idea is to position myself now as the ANDROID guy, and, although the volume for Android app creating and make money with Android apps may not be as high NOW, it definitely to me is the next big thing, and if I act first, it could be big for me.

Sorry, didn't meant to try and promote my current product at all.

I have to be honest. Based on this post I am not sure what the product actually "is." I see that it is a book, and that you talk about development, but is it tips on development, a step by step tutorial, something else of value? What makes IT, and YOU, a viable player in that market?

Yes, would highly suggest jumping on this as Android is grasping more of that market share. The more comprehensible you can make the e-book to the average (yet app-competent) marketer, you can open up some serious floodgates in reaching interested parties.

And maybe even walk them through the whole process - from idea to development to monetization. I'm sure there are third-parties that would be interested in promoting their mobile services in this as well. Plenty of options for ya

Yes - definitely!! This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Just out of curiosity - what kind of third parties do you mean? I've never even thought about that angle, but that would make great sense.

Mobile advertisers, distributors, etc., etc. For example, a shameless plug, we just introduced our unique ad platforms for Android and have been getting wide interest from developers who want to monetize their apps at no cost to the user. Obviously, we and other ad networks would love to promote services within a relevant e-book.

It's a good approach for cross-promotion. The network promotes the product to their audience, while you promote it to yours. Never hurts to broaden your reach and provide options to your readers - they'll love you for it.
