Adsense site question? How much keyword/traffic do you target for $1 a day sites?

I am curious what you guys are targeting for keywords in regards to the traffic and CPC? I am seeing a lot of people saying build adsense sites that make at least a dollar a day and just build many of them. And the ones that dont produce you sell. So my question is if you find a keyword that has the domain open to buy what is the minimum traffic estimated by google that you go for?

I would prefer to make 4 authority site than a lot of minisite. Because its much easier to handle and if you are good with placing your adsense, your earning will double with authority site. Another thing that makes me to choose authority site is I live with risk free from G Updates

All of my AdSense sites earn $1+/day.

How much traffic I need in order to ensure that happens is largely irrelevant and cannot very well be predicted: it depends on the relevance of the ads to the page(s) in question, the resultant CTR (and there are many other factors that determine this, other than ad-relevance, of course), the EPC of the ads, and so on ...

None of this stuff is really predictable, and all of it is subject to change. The relevance of your ads may be subject to seasonal influence in many cases, and advertisers can drop out or temporarily pause campaigns, etc. They might choose to add your site to their "exclusions" list if they don't like it. The geographical origin of your traffic determines what ads are displayed, and some of them may only run on certain days of the week, or between specific times, etc. And EPCs are subject to a wide degree of fluctuation, too, even with the same ads.

Some of my sites when new were earning a few pounds per day with just a handful of clicks and a very good CTR (good ad relevance) but very little traffic (sometimes even less than 10 visitors per day!). Other sites took a lot more traffic because ad-relevance wasn't so great and EPCs were much less.

    So it's hard to say.

If a keyword has very weak first-page competition in the search-engines, then I will usually target it even if it only gets a few hundred searches per month. How low I'm prepared to go depends really on the amount of effort it's likely to take to rank well, and how good the overall EPCs have been, historically, for that particular site.
