Here's the latest example of my failure I bought a domain name with the keyword.com that get's 70,000 global searches a month in a hot niche on Google. I developed the domain, I got on the first page in yahoo, I get ok traffic but the site is new. I paid for a professional logo, I've seen similar sites with no traffic sell for thousands. My site didn't even make over $250 in bids

I also have thousands of backlinks and .edu links pointing to the site. I put allot of work getting it started

I think if you spent 10 years focused on one money making method you would be making money by now.

When I first started trying to make money online I bounced around trying different things for around 6 months & did not make any money at all. Only when I completely focused all my efforts on one method did I then become successful.

Fastest way to start making money, kind of depends on what you mean by "Quickest" it all depends on the method you use. Really you just got to find a way to get as many targeted and warm eyeballs on a offer as you can.

Okay, well, since you're apparently good at driving traffic, outsource yourself to drive traffic to others, and let them make the sales. Or offer to do it for a percentage of the sales. Just tell 'em, "If I don't drive a lot of traffic to your site, you don't make a lot of sales, which means I don't make a lot of money. That's a real high incentive for me."

You will not really earn money quickly. You have to give time and effort.

I would say maybe you should start looking at JV. if you are good at getting the traffic and suck and getting the sales, find someone who has the sales and is looking for more traffic and work with them.

If you have the means to invest then that is what I would look at.

I have wasted a lot of time trying different things, one thing is for usre.. I don't think there is any real fast way, without knowing what you are doing and buy default that takes time.

I have been testing every aspect of internet marketing online for over 7 years and made a nice bit of change. The only time when I would stop making money was when I quit a method all together.

Everything you mentioned above will make money. I would also suggest making a site for your excess product and selling those off of your site. Ebay can get crazy at times. Also, try Craigslist.

First you need to sit down and make a real plan. Having cash to invest is sometimes worse than having none at all. It tends to make you move too quickly. Be a little more patient. Learn from your failures and see how you could make it work.

When it comes to selling physical products, I would take advantage of the internet. Don't carry any physical inventory. That's how you can avoid getting stuck with crap. Take advantage of dropshipping.

Learn from your mistakes. If I were you, I would have stayed in the flipping or affiliate arena and learned how to make it work. Be a little more patient and don't let initial failure stop you.

You say there are too many low ballers, then make smaller, more targeted sites, that these low ballers would buy. Create a template system, where you could easily churn these type of cookie-cutter sites out. This way, you could afford to sell them at a lower price. Just change your business model, from low quantity/high price to high volume/low price.

Don't expect the market to adapt to you. You must adapt to the market.

With the money you have you could also commission a programmer to come up with some software or a script that marketers would find useful.

If you create a product that sells, you could do very well with a little marketing/advertising.

That's probably the safest way to go. Have a programmer/s create a script, program or website that caters to something specific in the Internet Marketing niche.

I'm not sure if we are being trolled or if this guy is serious. How do you get 100k views a day and not make money somehow? Something isn't right here. There is absolutely no way that your conversion rates could be that low.

I believe that your problem is that you're already setting yourself up for failure mentally. You went into the entire thing thinking that you're offering crap and that others have better products or better pricing, etc.

It's not about the product and it's not even about the price. It's about how you make the customer feel and how you present the benefits of said products.

Whether you're affiliate marketing or you're selling products on Ebay, if you provide value you will always win over competitors. And value doesn't just come from the products or the pricing.

For instance, how is the product presented to the prospect on your site? What sort of user experience are you providing your customers? Do you offer reviews and actual user experience stories?

If you focus on the above questions and you offer quality, your competition will wonder where all their traffic went.

When I was 18, I started working for this outside sales company. All of this stuff was imported from China and consisted of anything from stuffed animals to watches to pocket organizers. People thought the stuff was stolen, since we were walking around with bags selling the stuff door to door, but it was actually just wholesale.

The thing is, this stuff was crap. Walmart had the same stuff and it was cheaper. But you know what? We would use certain techniques to sell out of our merchandise quick. Just a run-down included eye-contact, putting the product in the customer's hand, offering user experience story to put the customer in the mindset of ownership, etc.

I used to be the top salesman in our office because I was able to make customers smile and I was real good at those above steps. Even people who told me they didn't have money at first would buy my entire stock occasionally. They didn't need it. But I presented it in a way where they had to have it.

You can literally sell ice to eskimoes. It's all in how you go about it.

I bet if you went back through all your old online marketing campaigns and you focused on better content, better graphics and the ultimate user experience, you'd be back here before you knew it telling us all how it's done.

I don't understand how anyone that can generate decent traffic at 100k can not make a few grand each month.

It is possible that you are trying to do each and every task yourself instead of leveraging pro's (e.g. copywriter).

The quickest ways to make money are not the best ways to make money, real money takes time effort, and usually a hefty initial investment. Try and develop and build a business, start looking at things you are good at that other people would pay you for

You failed because you did not effective monetize your properties. Having a site with 100k visitors and page 1 ranking then you could have made easy money.
1. go with affiliate/or own product
2. if that doesn't work go with CPA offers/offline real world products
3. if that doesn't work just build a list and try selling there
4. if that still doesn't work then use buysellads or other ways (paid posts, etc) to make money.
5. if you still fail then try your luck with adsense, infolinks, etc

Heck if you still don't make enough money then just monetize with CPM or pop unders. I am pretty sure even a low .5 per 1000 impression would earn you anywhere between $10-100 monthly, assuming you had monthly traffic of 100k.

One problem i noticed is you built sites for the purpose of selling stuff or the 'site' itself, try without selling stuff and build trust, reputation and loyal customers. Then i am sure you will make way more profits then $500 in 10 years!
