Hi Guys

I am new but have read considerably.

Saw a video awhile back on how to redirect using 301 at server level.

Am wondering if i could use it to redirect to the affiliate page? Am hoping to pay some ppc to drive traffic.

Therefore is this method legal? If so, can somebody teach me further cos at the sub folder, it will only read a index page rite? How can i embed the affiliate link in it?

    I found this info in Google, but maybe you already know.

    301 redirect is the best method to preserve your current
    search engine rankings when redirecting web pages or a web
    site. The code "301" is interpreted as "moved permanently".
    After the code, the URL of the missing or renamed page is
    noted, followed by a space, then followed by the new
    location or file name. You implement the 301 redirect by
    creating a .htaccess file.
