As normal when you purchase someone's product, I was opted in to the product creator's mailing list where I almost instantly started getting offers for his other products. Many of the other products that he had created and was promoting also claimed huge income generation methods.
The skeptic in me couldn't help but say, if this person is making $35,000 with the method that I bought from him, then why does he need to go on creating a dozen other different products teaching different methods that he says makes him bucket loads of cash. Was the real cash made from product creation and the selling of his products? I can't lie, he recommended about 6 other things that I ended up buying into, so I know he made a healthy amount of money off of me, somewhere to the tune of $250.
I'm sure there are many people who would be skeptical of this, the fact that one person is claiming so many different methods of making money online yet selling a dozen products. Many, and admittedly even myself in the beginning, wonder what's the point of creating products selling your methods when you could be building on them to create an even bigger income. Now there are many different theories on this, both negative and positive, and I'd love to hear your ideas.
On the positive side, the fact is that . . . sometimes making $35,000 a month on one method isn't enough for one person. Sometimes people want to make more money and they know that they can do it with other methods, product creation being one of them. Sometimes people like to diversify.
I guess the question could be, does it put you off when you buy a product from someone and then they start mailing you out offers on multiple other products of theirs that teach different methods? For those of you who are product creators, do you honestly divulge your methods and have decided to sell your methods and turn to product creation for an additional stream of revenue, ever building your online portfolios?
I'd love to hear from both the buyers and the sellers, as I'm sure there are a lot of unique opinions from both sides. Again, this is all just for curiosities sake.
