Anyone Else Notice A Huge Slump In Sales?

I'm in a weight-loss-related niche, selling an eBook on Clickbank.

I've noticed a huge slump in sales over the last 6 days. I've gone from earning over $100 per day to almost NOTHING!

Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on why?

Edit: Forgot to mention that according to Google Analytics, there is no change in traffic, and according to Clickbank there is no change in order form impressions! Roughly 40 per day!!

Are you still getting the same amount of traffic? maybe rankings dropped or something?

  • A 3 day slump is probably nothing to worry about, but is your buy button or link working? Is it picking up your affiliate info when you click on it? Did you check your traffic stats for those 3 days?

Sorry, I just edited my initial post.

      Tis a 6 day slump not 3.

  • Hmmm... that is interesting, but nowhere near unheard of. Sometimes things like that just happen every once in a while. You're definitely not alone in seeing this sort of thing. Certain months usually always due better than others, and sales fluctuate up and down, sometimes quite considerably because of it.

Typically for me, though, during those dry months, my order form impressions will drop proportionally.

      Are you building a list?

If you're direct-linking into the offer(s) you're pretty limited in your options.

This is also one of my niches, although selling Amazon products. It appears to be seasonal, but actually my sales have been dramatically increasing over the last few weeks. Try changing your product or offer a variety.

Exactly. Seasonal fluctuations are going to happen with any niche, although which season is affected will depend on the particular niche. That's just one of the reasons I build many blogs rather than just concentrating on 1 or 2.

With my Amazon blogs, I would never even consider offering only one product. One main more expensive products, and then some medium- and lower-priced related products.
