Need Help...ezine or not?

I was wondering if any of you could give me advice about what I need to do to qualify my website as an ezine. I want to submit it to ezine directories but I am new to the business and I'm not sure if it qualifies as an ezine.

I do know that I need to change my pop-up opt-in box to say "Sign up for my Newletter" instead of "Get a free ebook"

Other than that, what else do I need to do with this webpage to start a list that I can start selling to?

Thanks in advance for the responses. I have tried over and over to make money online and end up getting so frustrated that I quit for a few months. As a matter of fact, I am probably on some of your mailing lists already. I've bought and signed up for a lot, but no luck so far.

    eZines are typically email pieces and are mailed out periodically to people who sign up to receive them so there isn't much you can do to qualify you're site. Do a search on ezines and check it out. Good luck...
