WooHoo...2nd page on Google in 7 days

WoooHooo, this stuff may work after all.

Got an article accepted on ezinearticles last week, and just following a FEW of the tips from a few WF folks here, I'm at #16 (page 2) on Google for my search term.

I know, I know...it's not position #3 in 15 minutes or anything like that, but to me it proves that this article marketing thing might actually be doable.

Now...to actually start implementing the rest of the advice I've gotten here to REALLY test things.

    That's brilliant, well done, I'm sure it has given you a great boost. Don't forget the value of backlinks to your website, especially from forums so go into the UserCp at the top of the page and edit your sig so that your website link appears underneath it every time you post.

    yes, keep going. Articles and Squidoo lenses can be powerful. I am observing some of my own sites - and i see the backlinks increasing, for some good KWs i already got position (!) 3 and 4 on google.

    I cannot enough point out what a good ROI article marketing and squidoo lenses yield, its def. money well spent to outsource this...or if you must write the articles yourself and submit yourself.

      I might add that the competition for the term without quotes is 93,200,000, with quotes is about 35,000.

      Is this decent for a week or so, with very little "pushing" as far as backlinks and such is concerned?

    That's outstanding.............you got part of the equation solved. One thing you want to keep an eye on is the number of page views your article is receiving and the CTR on the links in your resource box.

    Also, if you have discovered that you can rank on Google for your particular keyword phrase you might want to consider writing and submitting more articles utilizing your keyword phrase so you can dominate a few more positions in Google.

    Well done! I have had good results with ezinearticles too. In fact that is where I am focusing most of my marketing efforts at the moment. I write 5 new articles a day to promote a product and so far am getting good results. I am glad to hear of your success.
