A good way to get some free traffic is to do article marketing as mentioned above. A good website for that is EzineArticles.com but there are all kinds to choose from as well. What you want to do is right high quality content in hopes that publishers will end up publishing your articles on their website or blog. This is create a ton of links pointing in your direction that will bring you traffic. Article marketing is a great way at building traffic. You can always to some blogging as well leaving comments on others blogs that will then be linked to yours. Commenting on blogs is another great way at pointing traffic in your direction. You can also exchange links with other relevant websites in which you may get some traffic from them as well.

I would start off in these directions for now if Google Adwords is not in your finances for now. In the meantime research all you can about how to use adwords effectively. You can make a ton of money using Google Adwords just as long as you know how to use it properly. You can make a ton of money but if done wrong you can loose a lot of money very quickly. When you do use Adwords try using low cost keywords this will cost you less with less competiton.

This is a good idea and one that I use on a daily basis. Just be careful not to spam, or to include the same URL too many times in one day, as your account can get banned. To get even more traffic, you could set up two accounts and post with one and answer your own questions with the other. This way you can always have the best answer (which means more traffic).

I agree with this. Find topics that are relevant to the particular time that you are in and find ways of getting in on the bigger discussion about the big events/concerns/obsessions going on. Culturally relevant is the key.

Also paying attention to the time of year. People going into the new year are going to be going nuts for input on how to make some changes for the new year. Think about what the hot topics would be and get some discussions going and give them some ideas. Heading into Valentine's Day write some ideas on how to treat that special someone to something nice,. or how to get that special someone, or...why trying to find that special someone is overrated.

Anything that you might be interested in at any given point during the year is likely to be something that many others are interested in as well.

Concerning Yahoo Answers I began answering questions in my niche and some competitor reported me for abuse but I disputed it several times because I knew I hadn't violated any of Yahoo terms and I had given very good advice not spam. I won and finally became a top contributor so now the person whoever they were that was reporting me stopped.

I spend sometimes an hour answering questions to 3 different niches different sites and do get traffic from doing it. You do need to answer the questions with a lot of thought. And I believe if you're giving good info that helps them you deserve to get their business. That's not spamming, it's fair, they get their answer and you get their business.

1. Article Marketing - the most popular and best place to submit your article is by going to EzineArticles.com

You should write the article in related to the particular topic of the product you are promoting. At the end of each article you have to include your resource box with your URL where the reader can click the link to find out more of your information if they have interest on your article.
