When was the quickest you made a sale with article marketing?

We all hear about the amount of patience that is required with regard to article marketing, but we hardly ever hear about any quick gratification..

With that said, when was the shortest amount of time you needed to make an affiliate sale using article marketing?

    I think that you could make a sale within a week if you really put some SEO into it.

      You could make a sale tomorrow if you time it out right and write it in a way that basically leaves your reader with no other choice but to click the resource box for more information.

      Get it in the right category and ride the recently submitted list for the night and you could possibly get a sale pretty quickly. Does it happen all the time? No, of course not. But does it happen? Yes, a lot of people are making a good amount of money doing nothing more than just that.

    Writing and submitting articles means putting your business on autopilot. And as you say you need to be persistent to see results.
    If your articles are original you can make sales within a week.

      I think there are so many variables with this question. Before a sale even takes place you have to consider the product you are promoting. The quality and content of the article. How the author's resource box is written. Then when users click on the link is the sales page going to attract people long enough to go through it. Will it convert to get that sale?

      Too many things to look at but let's just say all things are working in your favor and all the stars are aligned You should start seeing sales once you get the article ranked well enough to start getting organic traffic flowing to it.

      For me if I don't sprinkle any SEO magic dust to the articles it could take a few weeks to a month before sales start trickling in. This is after researching the product I'm promoting and understanding the amount of searches a keyword is getting that I'm going after. Lastly the commercial intent of that keyword meaning the intent to buy.

    I got a sale within 3 days as well. I wrote few reviews about a newly launched product and submitted them to Articlebase, Squidoo. However this approach may not work now after the Panda update.
