Too many domains, not enough hours in the day... what to do?

Hi guys, well, I went on a bit of a domain name splurge a few months back...

I have some really nice EMD's, with good monthly searches, 3,000 - 5,000 per month, all with pretty low competition.

These domains are just sitting there, as I'm busy focusing on getting 4 amazon affiliate sites up, 1 down, 3 to go.

What should I do with these, sell the domains, if so, where, with little or no commission?

I could easily outsource some articles and get them up, but the pain is getting them ranked with seo... what's the best way around this, hire someone for a month from the Phillipeans? Would cost around $200-$300, to seo them all?

I hired a girl on trial for 2 weeks, and she was pretty bad... so, I don't want to throw money away...

Just a quick suggestion is to get a SEO software to start multitasking on your projects. SENuke can probably work for your amazon sites and your EMD's.

For now, I would say that you should just set up some quick autoblogs on each EMD, that way you can probably make about 1 sale/day.

It seems to me that you're overwhelmed by too many things to do at once. I suggest you stop a moment to take the time to decide what you wanted to achieve from the beginning.

Take time to look back on what you've done so far to see if you have really reached your goals or not. Involved in several things at once has never really given great results in long term. Staying focused on what is essential for you.

In terms of outsourcing, I suggest you to buy a software. Because in the long term it costs too much to pay someone. There are two that I find really excellent: The Best Spinner and the article marketing robot.

      Good luck!

  • First, I don't buy my domains all at once, because then they all become due at the same time, as well. I buy them as I need them, and re-new them only if they are making money.

The rest, for me, is part software and a whole lot of outsourcing. With 4 good sites you could make that $300 back in the first week easily (and then some) assuming, of course, you've done the proper niche research and the people you hire do their job properly.

Why the rush to sell them? If they are good EMDs, why sell them at bargain prices now. I mean, if you need the money, go ahead and sell them.

But if you can wait, then do so. You'll be kicking yourself later.

It's easy to get overwhelmed with too many domains. Focus on one at a time. Otherwise find out how to automate or outsource your work.

Sure, I can pm a list of them over to you and you.

Everyone else, thanks for the feedback... I may sell, or hang on to them... most of them would be adsense related for monetization, and I'm only starting to get my head around this... as I'm concentrating on the amazon sites.

So, ye, could be an idea to hold on to them til I know exactly how to get the most out of em...

Unless you're into domain parking, going on a domain splurge is not a good idea. It's always best to focus on one site first and then when you start to earn money AND experience from it, then you can put up other sites. And yeah, there are good VAs from the Philippines that you can outsource. I hired two and they are an asset to my business.

I have just been looking at, The Best Spinner $77 and 'the article marketing robot' $97 that spin articles. Can anyone give personal experience regarding how EZA treat these articles? How they scrub up on a Copy Scape test for unique and do they even make sense? I have seen some horrible sites that I presume are auto blogs, just wondering.

Also, what does EMD stand for please Warriors?

Spinners are garbage for the most part. Even TBS still can only do so much. I only use that content for buffer sites or web 2.0 properties, not my money sites.

I've got a custom coded tool that creates unlimited unique content all day long (no spinning and no re-writes). The content is A+ Ezone quality too. I'll be offering it soon, but if you want a free article to check it out pre-launch let me know

Did you plan to do anything with them when you bought them? If you had a plan, why not outsource for help?

Since you have really bought EMD keep it and let the domain age a bit.

Focus on 1 or 2 domains and get it rank on the 1st page of Google.

Once you have fine-tuned it and start earning money then work on the rest of the EMD.

Ya, as for backlink and other services you might want look at hire Section.

    Hope it help.

    Yours Sincerely

Usually i buy domain one by one, build one then buy another. but in your case, I agree with another members, just let it for a while then optimize it, many providers selling at damn cheap rate now. good luck!

I've fallen into the same trap in the past and registered a load of bright ideas I had one day after another after another. And then only really realised what I'd done a month later when the hosting renewals started coming through. I'd suggest focussing on the one you think has the best chance of being built into a solid money making business unit for you and get that up and running and making you as much as possible. And then, and only then, start working on the next. Some of the really successful guys out there run all of their business off of one domain name.

Move on to the next best when you're ready.

I guess it all depends upon what you plan to do with them in the future. If you see some potential in the domains, I'd just sit on them. By the time you get working on them they will have some age to them, which is always good.
