Forum Sig Question..

If you haven't had a forum signature and you've added posts/threads in the past.. if/when you add a signature, do all of your pasts post get updated with the signature or is it only added to your posts going forwards?

thanks

    Hey Ej,

Yup, when you add or change your sig file it is retroactive...

I'm not 100% sure but I believe if you don't have a Sig and create or reply
to a post and do not have the "Show your signature" option checked when
posted that only threads that had the option checked when posted would
    include your new Signature.

    I could be wrong.

If you haven't had a Signature in the past then test it to see.
If you have and had the option enabled then all past posts will change to the new Sig
if the "Show your signature" option was enabled/checked when you replied/posted.

    Hope that Helps,
    Have a Great Day!
    Michael

      Good Point Michael!

      EJ,

Make sure you have your "show your signature" box checked...

This is probably what happened to the other fella that said it didn't show in some of his posts...

Yup, this is true for nearly every single forum.

There is a down side to this. For those that want to use posting for link building, they can only promote one set of links because more would require more accounts.
