Paypal Transfer to Merchant
Hi, I am setting up a membership site. I plan on just having a 5 dollar monthly subscription (recurring) to start off with - then later sell a book with a one click upsell for the membership. I'm using optimize press and wishlist member.
I plan to use paypal in the beginning (while I get a few members), then when my book is complete I very well may go with 1shoppingcart pro so I can do the one click upsells after they purchase the book.
What I'm wondering is if I get 500 members on paypal with recurring billing, then need to switch to a merchant account/1shoppingcart - will I lose those paypal members? Can I just let them continue to pay with paypal - maybe offer both paypal and credit card as payment options at that point?
Just wondering your take on this. I'm new to the forum and internet marketing so I'll be around. Trying to learn. Thanks for your answers in advance!
