My favorite supplier uses share-a-sale as his affiliate manager. I've had good luck with them. Used CJ for a little while but after a friend with no computer had me order some stuff for him through my own account and neither the clicks or sales showed up, I dropped them like a hot potato.

Many of the merchants I promote for use ShareASale. I personally find their user interface easier to use, especially when it comes to creating your own links with merchant landing pages. Easy-peasy! With CJ? Not so much.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Linkshare and Google Affiliate Network are some other options that you can try. I have promoted many products from Google Affiliate network merchants with decent results.

      Hi Anup

Searched and didn't find any list of Google Affiliate Network advertisers, are there big brands, lots of different markets, or will I find just a couple good brands?

      It seems interesting.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

Amazon isn't bad either. I never got good conversion rates with their stuff, though.

Yeah Commission Junction seems to be a bit scammy, I know for a fact a friend went and bought something and poof nothing. Share a sale I've heard good things about tho and am thinking on switching over.

Commission Junction is one of the most tried and true affiliate networks out there. I seriously doubt what you're saying. As CJ affiliate for nearly a decade and hundreds of thousands of dollars in commissions they have never failed me and certainly aren't "scammy".

Another really good alternative is eBay affiliate program. Yeah, they used to be with CJ and then with that scam outfit PepperJam but the new eBay PArtner Network really rocks. If you're creative, have some programming skill and can think outside the box, EPN is a real breadwinner. I'm averaging more than 3K per month from EPN. Pays a lot more than Adsense.

Ditto with Share-a-Sale. Depending on what you are looking to sell, sometimes you can go to a merchant's website and look at the bottom or on site index to see if they have an affiliate program.

You could also try clickbank or digiresults.

Here's the link to my top three:

      multiurls.com/g/8

I think it depends what kind of traffic you're receiving and the products you would like to access/promote.

One of my sites gets UK traffic so the last one works quite well.

Avantlink is better than others in terms of affiliate tools.

CJ is good overall, but inside your affiliate account, they no longer allow you to open links in new tabs. That is bad design that cost me much more time to do things.

Linkshare and shareasale are the top affiliate network after cj. You can then look for various cpa networks.
