Hi
I am just wondering aloud if any one out there is making good cash from the Master Resale PLR? Anyone?

I would dearly love an answer to this question as well, since I accidentally bought some MRR awhile ago and don't quite know what to do with it.

If you're a buyer of PLR the key to make money from your investment is to make it unique.

You can do this in a number of ways :

    • Offer a number of bonuses to the PLR package to increase value... these can be your own products or other products you've purchased the PLR rights too.
    • Pay a graphics designer on fiverr (or here on the Warrior Forum) to create new graphics for you...Hey Presto a NEW Product. NOTE : Even changing the name of the product and slightly tweaking the graphics will help.
    • Create additional value to the existing content i.e. Record an audio .mp3 of the PLR using audacity, create walkthrough videos digging deeper into some of the key points whilst including your own opinions and personal experiences.
    • Create a powerpoint presentation (or even a mindmap) and make a video recording of it... Hey Presto a NEW product with even more value.
    • ALWAYS pay attention to the rights of the PLR license.
The main problem is many people sell PLR "as is", and that's a massive mistake because you're not separating yourself from all the other license holders.

PLR should be used as a foundation to your own unique product, a strong foundation if it's quality PLR.

Use your imagination along with your innate creativity and you'll be surprised with how easily you can re-purpose PLR.

Well said PLR is just a starting point, it's up to you to make it into a better product. That's the fun of it.

PLR is great for people getting started who can't afford thousands of dollars to try and create their own product from the ground up.

It's also great for those who don't have the time to create an entire sales funnel from scratch, since much of the work has already been done.

I've done well with it. I offer excellent niche packages in the classified section on WF. The trick is to buy a bunch (multi GBs) wholesale and sort it out. Inventory and organization of the stuff is tedious.

It literally takes days to go through it all picking out the junk and keeping the good stuff. Another thing is, you have to explain what you have when you offer it. You can't just say, get these 27 IM products today!

You have to at least list the titles of the procucts. Graphics help a lot too. I think when people see how much work it is to actually bring a decent PLR bundle to the marketplace they bug out and chase some other rabbit. I haven't tried selling single products, just wholesale.

I think folks successfully sell bulk wholesale PLR because of the "THUD" Factor. The sheer quantity of information is perceived as containing more value, and to be fair, sometimes that's true.

As travlinguy said, having the ability to change the title of the product and the graphics, in essence, creates your own unique product.

The number one benefit of owning PLR to a single product is having your own instant product ready to sell. The amount of profit you create depends on the limits of your imagination, and you're inclination to take action and try new things which are essential skills for any would-be entrepreneur, IMHO.

I personally use PLRs to get content for new products ,articles, post etc... The possibilities are limitless...

So all the money my business generates comes from PLRs in some way..

    Cheers,

I don't think that's a new category of products. PLR = private label rights, while MRR = master resell rights and RR = (basic) resell rights. The most valuable would be PLR - because you can modify it, add to it, remove anyhting, be an author and could transfer/convert into other formats like reports, audios, videos, courses, etc... and most of the PLR stuff also offers translation rights. Great stuff, I do like PLR!

In my experience, many people don't understand the different between MRR and PLR. I've seen a lot of PLR packs being resold - complete with the README.TXT file from the original seller that indicates the package cannot be resold.

Most PLR is for your own use and not for resale. Also, not for inclusion in a turnkey website or website template you plan on selling.

Read the TOS before you buy, folks.

I don't know where you came up with this but I have close to 150GB of PLR stuff and I'd say less than one percent of it falls into the "personal use only" category.

Every PLR package I've purchased from a high-quality PLR site; i.e., one that isn't just reselling packages you can get for free if you know where to look, specifies that it's for personal use only.

Before you resell PLR packs you've purchased, make sure you have the right to resell it.

Edited to add: I just browsed through a couple large PLR sites that I'm pretty sure are just reselling the same stuff everyone else has and their terms of service also prohibit resale.

I think the reason so many people believe they can just turn around and resell PLR packs is because they haven't actually read the TOS.

There are lots of PLR products on eBay, but you have to check them out carefully before buying them.

tycox states: "Every PLR package I've purchased from a high-quality PLR site; i.e., one that isn't just reselling packages you can get for free if you know where to look, specifies that it's for personal use only."

That's why on our PLR site we provide a link to the applicable licence for each product so buyers know what is allowable with each product prior to buying it.

Yes - very much so - as a creator and a seller of other peoples products.

Yes there is still money to be made with both MRR and PLR. A personal marketing touch is the key. Try making a simple, short, keyword focused demo video and uploading it to YouTube and the other popular video sharing sites. This is only one way, but is and will be effective for a long time.

Not that I have much experience reselling material but it would seem, to me, that the best way to make money with this stuff is by creating your own MRR or PLR material and selling that to other people.

It's the old joke, "How does the guy selling a book on making thousands of dollars on the internet make his money? By selling books on how to make money." I guess it's not that funny

Why not just hire a writer or two, a graphics guy and maybe a voice over actress from Fiverr and then create your own killer MRR material?
