Monetizing a list.

So you've built your list, subscribers are being added daily and now the question comes, how do you monetize it?

What are some methods you use to turn your list into $$$.

For this example, let's say you have a list that was built around website owners seeking traffic generation techniques.

The content of your list is providing the members with some free information on executing different techniques for traffic.

How would you go about monetizing this list?

    That originally how the list is built from the begging offering a free software or ebook.

    you can still monetize it with product lunches in the same niche, or affiliate products from clickbank,cj etc.

    but setting up your auto responder for promoting is even better, so you wont have to keep blasting.

      yea, this was kind of what I was thinking.

      For this example, the traffic generation list, if the content given to the list is extremely high quality (meaning that the same information being given to the list is the quality of paid WSOs, ClickBank Products, etc) the list shouldn't need to purchase traffic generation products due to the information they are already receiving for free.

      So what do you market to them?


      The same would apply if it was a dog training list, the content of the list is high quality dog training techniques. They don't need to purchase further products because the list is giving them what they need there.

      What you will have is a very strong relationship with the list members due to the over deliverance on quality content. So once you finally push a strong product, they *should* respond extremely well.

    Hi,

    Three ways:

    1. Create an interesting and useful post on your blog that carries adverts and offers. Send a teaser to the list with "to see the rest of this post click here". They will go to your blog, read your post and then (probably) click on an advert or offer or another post on your blog. Either way, it's all good.

    2. After message 8 drop in the odd advert.

    3. Do a JV on this forum and sell/trade an ad to your list.
