Is there a way to tell what the most popular topics are on Yahoo Answers?

I've looked at Yahoo Answers and tried googling for the answer but don't see anything.

Thanks in advance,

John

    TE2,

You can find the most popular topic by going to "Categories" tab.

    1. Click "Browse Categories"

    2. Under "Questions in All Categories". click "Resolved" tab

    3. Then under Sort by: click "Most Popular" or "Most Answers"

There you go... just browse through topic that your're interest in.

Or you can narrow down by select specific categories then repeat the same step above.

I hope that is what your'e looking for.

It's not necessarily you find the popular topic with the intention to drop you links there.

What you could do, when you find the popular topic. Click on that particular yahoo answer topic and copy the yahoo answer URL.

Go to google tools keyword and digg the list of keyword by inserting yahoo answer URL in the website box.

You will amaze, how many keywords that might be gold mine keywords.

The most popular topics are chock full of people waiting to report you.

Nope, I'm not planning to post anything - just another source for research.

The method above is useful but what would be the most helpful is a site that lists the most popular topics or top trends. That info with data/stats would be exactly what i am looking for.

Does such a site exist - if so, what is it?

      Thanks again,

Yes, one of many tools that I use.

I really liked the wordtracker gtrends mashup before they changed its format, functions and made it a paid tool.

I do use other tools like the ubiqitous google kw tool and Market Samurai to name a few.

Admittedly, I am NOT a Yahoo Answers user and just looking to see if it makes sense to add it to my research arsenal.

Thanks again for your contributions to this thread.

Answering in the most popular topics will have a greater chance of being reported. Is there a way to avoid being reported. Because anyone has the power to report your answer and is there a way to retrieve your suspended account?

Normally with what is happening in the news, you see lots of people talk about that.

So recently is has to do with the stockmarket and also the economy, as we have seen lots of news headlines lately.
