So I recently got hired at a grocery store (1st job!) and today I'm getting paid. I think it'll be around 70$ not sure. Anyways since school is about to end and summer is going to start I really want to focus my summer on doing IM and getting some cash. Now I don't want to spend every paycheck on IM, I still need to buy clothes, shoes and what not for school. My goal is to earn 5k to buy a motorcycle. (2011 Kawasaki Ninja 250R) Anyways with my 1st paycheck coming up I'm thinking on investing it into a domain and hosting plan..(5-10$/monthly). Is there anything I should absolutely buy.

Thanks, Vulk

Flipping sites and/or Affiliate marketing. I'd like to have the 5k hopefully in the next 6-7/months. Now I know that's very unrealistic because I know it takes people almost 1/2 years to even get their 1st sale so yeah..

If you're planning on flipping sites a good tip is to build video sites.

Make sure you find a good niche thats selling by going to Flippa and looking at the sites that are selling. See if you could build something similar.

People who buy sites in the 1-200 dollar range IMO either like sites that are making some money already OR look great and are full of fancy functionality.

One final tip - when you are looking through flippa try to put yourself in someones shoes that is looking to buy a site. Create a story about this person. Why are they wanting a site? How much about the internet do they know? What makes them happy? What pisses them off?

Know who your selling to and it will be alot easier to create products for them.

        Good Luck Amigo!

I can offer you 30 days hosting for $0.01 if you like. You should start to develop a product that you can sell through your website. Don't target the IM niche, it's oversaturated and I would know, seeing as I was in your situation just a few months ago. Get some tools, such as Scrapebox and create some backlinks to your site. Find relevant forums for your niche and become a reputed member selling your stuff their. Remember, your product must solve a problem, not create one, and that is how to achieve low, low refund rates. Put it on Clickbank, jv with someone here on WF, and bahm, you've made bank.

Good luck on your future success and if you need any help, just ask!

    Thanks,

    Ben

Vulk's explenation is right on, actually.

Make a list and put those in bullet points.

Then ask youself: Do I have the knowledge./tools to complete each step?

If No, then the WSO section is a good place to start.

The War Room has great long content that completely summarizes how to solve some of these problems.

And ask tons of questions. Its sometimes shocking the level of innovation floating around on here!

Its great that you already know the importance of investing in a Domain and hosting. You should however be aware that to get a low hosting fee, you'll need to most likely pay 1 year in advance for a real hosting solution. There are Monthly payment solutions, but they are costly.

I wish you best of luck,

    Bernard

I can make it sound easy because essentially that's what it is. Once you get affiliates involved, it can be very easy for you. JV with people here, such as a Copywriter to make your salespage and in return he gets a cut of the sales, that has already saved you $200+. Get a domain from Godaddy, get cheap hosting, spend a few days with the free trial of Market Samurai to find easy keywords for your chosen niche. Do some SEO such as Scrapebox blasts or hire some stuff of here in the Services Warriors for Hire section. Create your product have the salespage written and finally get it on Clickbank. This could be achieved for well under $100, and that's a fact.

Don't spend a single dime without knowing exactly what you will be doing.

Hosting and domain are almost always required as well as a good autoresponder, but it would be better to have a system in mind before investing any money.

First, decide on a market. Don't go out there are start promoting random products and offers. Define a niche and audience and stick with it.

Second, decide between taking the free or paid route. It seems that your budget isn't very good now, so I'd recommend you to go with free traffic.

Third, decide on a specific strategy to drive traffic to your offers.

Fourth, create an action plan and define the strategy that you will use to promote your offers. E.g. direct linking, list building, etc...

Finally, start testing, tracking and optimizing.

The only problem I have when it comes to IM is actually finding a niche. Whenever I start seeing numbers I either say "Ewwww to much competetion" or "nahh, no-one is searching for that"...=\

Scrapebox has a keyword tool, it can create thousands of keywords relevant to your niche, and then you can run them through your trial Market Samurai and see which are easy and which not. Good luck!

Buy hosting from here: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ting-more.html. It's really cheap if you don't have too much money to spend and it's unmetered (except for addon domains and email accounts. If you're planning on owning up to 10 domains this is good and up to 100 emails). In hostgator, a plan like this is ~$11.

Hope this helps. Also, look into GoDaddy and find coupons that they sometimes release for $1 domains. But they only come out once in a while.

In some cases, Hostthename may not establish a specific amount of bandwidth, disk space and other resources, and refer to that as "Unlimited". In all cases, the Services are intended for normal use only, and any activity that results in excessive usage that is inconsistent with normal usage patterns is strictly prohibited. Hostthename reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or delete the accounts of Users whose use of disk space, bandwidth or other resources results in or presents the risk of degradation of service to other customers, regardless of the amount of disk space, bandwidth or other resources included in the User's plan.
Remember what you are buying into, nothing is Unlimited. At least with me, you know exactly what you are getting and can plan for any launch with the knowledge that you can contact me personally to upgrade your banwidth allowance to something more suitable. That's what you get with a personalised service.

Many people start with CPA offers. You might want to poke around the forum, there is a ton of great information on how to get started with CPA offers. Adsense is tricky and you can spend a lot of time before you actually make any money. For hosting, I like Hostgator. Good luck!

Don't think about what to buy. Do some research and figure out the type of Internet Marketing you want to be involved in. Then plan, plan, plan. People seem to jump in and buy a domain, web hosting and then have no idea what to do with it. Construct your plan and then work it.

Shoot...my advice is to buy a domain and web host (which isn't much)..than start experimenting with making niche websites and learning what works and what doesn't work. Also browse the warrior forums for topics that may interest you to widen your perspective on IM.

Back then what I used to do before I was an affiliate manager, I would just spend money for domain and hosting. As much as possible I tried to spend $0 on anything else. Once I got set up I was able to expand to bigger things
