  • lol. um, 1. probably get a job, especially if you have no experience.

or 2, figure out what talents you have and capitalize on those. What are you good at? What value you can offer other people?

And BTW, what games are you planning on getting? For $3k, that's at least the console plus 25 games with 10-15 accesories.

Absolutely, develop your talents. Take stock of what you are good at doing, and then see how you can improve your value to others. A good first question to ask is:
    How can I help people?
    not
How can I make X dollars?
You have to have a good answer to the first question before you move to the second question.

  • pps, as for time, etc, it really depends.

As one example, you could make that money tommorow if you lucked out with someone with a large list, convinced them to pitch a product that sells, and split the comission. But finding that person, and getting them to split profits is the 'trick'.

That's one way. You could broker websites, and make that overnight. But that requires knowledge of what is a 'good buy', and then how to spiff it up to get a buyer whereby you make a profit.

You could find a product with a 3k comission (they exist), then spam (er 'message') the crap out of various forums, wordpress blogs, etc until you got a buyer. But again, requires some research on what sells, where to market, and so forth.

Heck, I'm assuming you are living at home (hence the reason rent or food wasn't on your list). You could borrow it from your parents, maybe promise to do chores every day for 2-3 months.

So there is lot's of stuff. You just need to figure out what works, what you are good at, and what you can do.

With a mindset of "buying" you will never raise that $3k ... even if you figured out away to make money (which i really doubt if you are a complete noob) you will be spending every penny you make and you won't get to your goal ever.

    + Stop Being a Perfectionist !!

if this video game thing really means a lot to you then why don't you start with raising $400 first, to buy the console it self, which is gonna be a lot easier,

then raise an other $500 to buy a few accessories and make your way from there, but if you focused on the end result which is having a perfect gaming set up, then sorry dude ... you are not gonna make it

At least you are being straight forward! Why don't you try selling some old stuff, i.e. gadgets, clothes, office supplies, etc. You could always try your hand at fiverr, explore what talents you have and put them to use.

No offense but with a post like yours what's "yo" mental status?

The OP stated he was a teenager which means possibly as young as 13 and even if he was 19 that doesn't mean you have to be a jerk. At least the OP was honest in posting what the money was for which shows character, by the attitude shown in your reply that's something you could possibly learn from.

When you were a teenager did you always make the best decisions?

When you were a teenager did you often act on impulse or did you always think things through before you did them?

Maybe you should have offered some advice like several others here have instead of being a jerk by trying to make the OP feel bad by embarrassing him.

Personally I think posts like yours should merit a 7 day vacation from the forum but that’s just my opinion.

As if your post, which is nothing short of a personal attack, deserves any better?

Let's face it. The Op's post IS NOT the reason I come to Warrior Forum. Most reading the post simply hit the back button. So somebody gave a snarky response to a useless topic, that is no reason to rip that person. Be the bigger man and move on.

In my humble opinion, topics like this should be deleted by the moderators because they add no value to the forum and could have potentially disasterous results with all the predators out there looking for children to exploit.

So the teenage OP needs $3000 for an XBox system and wants to earn the money without working? As the parent of two teenage daughters, I WOULD NOT be happy with them posting a thread like this on a forum with adults. One can only imagine the repurcussions.

Why would you waste $3K on a console which is almost on its last legs. The new xbox will be out in 1-2 years probably...and $3K on video games is something you will definitely regret but thats not my business I guess...

Nobody can tell you how long it will take for you to make the money. It depends on your skills, what methods you use and how hard/effective you work.

Based on some preliminary estimates... As someone mentioned above... $3k is going to buy you an XboX 360, and even if you spent $300 on accessories, you would be buying around 35-40 games with the amount that is leftover. That seems a bit crazy to me. Why not make the $3k, and spend $600-800 on the XboX 360 (console, accessories, 4-5 games), and then take the remainder and use it to make more money so that you can continue to purchase the things that you dream of? Also, as one of the previous posters mentioned, a new one will be coming out soon anyways...

    1. Join a reputable CPA network. Ive heard that under 18's can join CPA networks so age shouldn't be an issue.

    2. Choose a free traffic method such as forum or video marketing then stick to it until you start earning. Be pesistent though, don't give up or jump to different methods.

    3. Then buy a 2nd XBOX 360 for about $200. You could then buy 2nd games from ebay that are in good nic.

This will take a long time if you haven't done IM yet. You will first need to learn the basics by reading a few reports and books (about 3,000 pages in total), then you'll need to start from little, go bigger, invest, etc. Once you've done all that you'll start earnings some money, however, you will still need to find the right niche.

Anyways, I'm just rambling on, but what my point is, is that IM is hard and something you need to like in order to get a decent flow of money from.

    Here's the truth.
You have probably been reading headlines like: "I will show you how to make $5000 in 7 days" "My foolproof system nets me $500 per day with only 2 hours of work" etc. etc. etc.

If you have no experience with IM it will take you a looong time to make your $3000, IM is not as easy as those hyped headlines would have you believe.
There are IM'ers who have been at it for years and still have not made $3000 in total, but i can bet you that they have spent that much plus more on products and courses.

I'm just trying to be honest, if you want to give it a shot go ahead, but my advise to you would be get a summer job and maybe you can make your $3000...

      This mindset holds people back.

The plain fact is making $3k a month IS easy.

You just need to find ONE way and focus 100% on it. STOP buying into the next shiny object.

I firmly believe anyone anywhere can make $3,000/month starting this month if they just apply themselves.

Since you are asking the question, my guess is that you are new to IM.

How much do you actually have to invest in your IM education?

I would say brokering or offering services to other IM is a good place to start. If you have say $70 you can invest in a tool like scrapebox, spend time learning all the ins and outs and then offer backlinking services.

or if you like writing articles, write and sell plr packs of popular niches. write 10 articles, sell the pack for $10 and only sell 10 packs so you keep the value high for the buyers. you make $100 a pop. Do that 30 times and BANG, your bedroom will be exploding with the sound of MW2 ownage, or halo tea *****ing !!

if your really smart though, save some of that money and invest in other more IM education then put it to practice.. when you need your first car, you won't need to post here asking how to make 10k or 20k.

just my $2 worth. When you get your xbox, add me. my tag is the same as here.

I fail to understand the value in making a post like this.

      How does it help anyone?

Let me say it again, making $3k is easy. I can tell you 50+ different ways to do it.

      But...

For the sake of simplicity let's do this...forget the overly powerful method I mentioned above that requires ZERO skill...

Instead let's focus on something that anyone can do.

So, you wanna make $3,000 online.

Go sign up for every freelance site you can find.
      Go sign up for Fiverr.
      Go sign up for Odesk.
      Etc.

Now post jobs saying you'll write articles for $0.01 per word.

Spend some time writing high quality articles you can give as examples of your work.

Now, focus all of your energy on this.

Let's say you can write 2 quality articles per hour.

      $5 per article x 2 per hour = $10

      $3,000/$10 = 300

Now, how soon do you want the $3,000?

Figure that out and divide by 300 hours.

Now you know exactly how much work you need each day to make your $3,000.

      Is it fun? No.
      Is it scalable? No.
      It is a business? No.
      Do I recommend it? No.

But it will make you money and it is easy.

      Cheers,

James, making money online really is simple when you break it down into discrete steps like this (even when you're a complete newbie and can only do something basic like article writing).

Unfortunately, many newbies have been deluded into thinking that they can make their first $1k or more on the internet easily, without having to put in substantial sweat equity and time - they have the mistaken notion that making money on the internet is "pushbutton" easy. Of course, we all know it doesn't work like that, but I've found that many newbies have really distorted views and opinions about making money on the internet.

If you are a starter in IM then you have to be patient. Gather knowledge first and then implement it.

If you want to jump into niche marketing, you can get a complete niche marketing system WSO from a reputed warrior. There are very cheap WSOs that has plenty of great information. I remember getting one for $9-$10 that had great information.

But remember, there are so much resources out there that you might drown in it and keep reading and researching more and more. So remember that, and do take action.

I would advice, follow one system, stick to it until you make money.

LOL at the number of people in this thread that have probably spent well over $3,000 on WSO's and other online "services", trying to kill this kid's dream of owning a decked out XBOX.

Nobody is saying for him not to buy any games but heck 3K is crazy.

This kid has a goal & a clear mindset of making that amount of money. He just need to gain or develop skills to make this happen. There are many ways to do this as many of you suggested.

And who said making $3000 online is not possible? If you have this attitude, you should not be in IM probably. Yes its big task for a newbie, he can break it down to smaller goals but that doesn't mean anyone starting out online cannot get to $3000.

      Just my thoughts.

Make a blog about some of the xbox games you know, or video games that are hot at school, and affiliate with amazon.com or another business that will pay affiliates.

Someone at fiverr can set up a wordpress blog for $5 and If you do a wordpress blog, you can buy plug ins that will have the basic Amazon info up and running with a couple lines filled in and a couple clicks. You would then write more for each post. So just start out with a few posts and add more over time. There is a cost for the plug ins, domain name and hosting.

Do reviews, talk them up and then pass your url around among your friends, school mates, etc.

You should make sales and will get paid in one to two months on what you do in the present month.

Learn about backlinking and continue to get backlinks to your blog. This will bring more visitors over time.

I admire the fact that you're trying to find ways to earn the money yourself and not just expecting your parents to buy the stuff for you. This puts you a step ahead of many teenagers today.

That said, $3,000 is a big goal. As said earlier, why not focus on step-by-step goals.
Get the $400 for the console and go from there.

Look through Fiverr and see if there are jobs there you could do or do better. Can you write articles? Draw Manga? Make videos? Write posts on other people blogs?

If you already know about gaming try starting your own blog (as mentioned earlier). Review games and sell them through an amazon link.

None of the ideas mentioned in this thread will make you a quick $3000 dollars. But they can make you some money and you'll learn a lot about what works and what doesn't.

A lot of well-known entrepreneurs started young so why not give it your best shot!

As the mother of business minded teenagers I say "Good Luck"!

      Think "Middle man."

An example of brokering would be you find an offer in the warrior forum..say some doing done for you websites for $100.

Then you go and post offers on other sites saying you'll build sites for folks for $150 or $200 or w/e you want.

When you get orders you simply hire the person at WF for $100 and keep the difference.

Requires ZERO skill and only a little effort.

For anyone who doubts it works I know people making $1500/week using this method.

Soo, if you manage to do the same you'll have your $3,000 in 2 weeks.

      Cheers,

      James

I just turned 15 last month and make more than 3k a month. The trick is to never give up. It really depends on how fast you need the money, If you need it by next week, then your best shot is to go and get a job, mow some lawns, etc... BUT if you want to build a BUSINESS that will provide long term income and will pay for everything you will ever need, I would suggest reading up on this forum, there is tons of valuable information here. It took me about a year to get to the 3k a month point, but I am totally loving it right now. I can now pay for my own car and insurance next year.

Something that interests teenagers is graphics design. My say is to go learn some photoshop or another photo editing software and then offer yourself for outsourcing. You can be getting an easy $97 per project, and over a couple of weeks it will add up to $3000.

What I would personally do if I was in your position is to read up on as much information as I can whether it be with Internet Marketing or just making money in general!

I personally would hate to get a job, so I am not recommending you to go get a physical job!

If you can do CPA, then join a CPA company and talk to an Affiliate Manager [AM] and ask them some techniques or methods that they heard that work pretty well. Depending on your CPA company, it could be really helpful!

I would spend some time looking at WSO's. There are a lot of inexpensive ones, that have potential. Read the comments others leave regarding their perceptions of the product, to help you evaluate it. I really comb through all the comments to see what others are asking and it brings to mind things I want to ask.

Another idea: Look for free info in the "Warrior Forum Classified Ads" and "Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You." I have been finding a lot of free info, free ebooks and although you do have to sort through, because not all of it will be useful to you, it is all part of the learning curve and it will pay off in the end.

Bum marketing: Google it, it is free, and it will give you some really good info on article marketing. You might have to outsource some of it and so you might need to search "outsourcing" in the Warrior Forum and Google. I have found there is a learning curve for article marketing, especially if you are doing the writing yourself and want to make an article that is readable and appealing, although less appealing articles can be used to drive traffic. It can outsourced, as already mentioned.

All the best, I hope you earn your money in a reasonable time frame.
