Using Quizzes To Provide Value...And Upsells!

Isn't it amazing what you can get up to when you're bored? Here i was waiting for some work to be done...twiddling my thumbs when i decided to have a look at some things that were gathering dust on my haRd drive...

Which is when I stumbled upon some PLR reports that i'd recently bought and forgot about...bet you've done the same right?

Anyway, i tried to think of a few ways i could generate some cash from these pretty decently written reports...

That's when i came upon the idea to create a 10 question "Article Marketing Quiz"...

The idea was simple, build a 1 page site, with a flash embedded quiz built in, and have it set up so that if a visitor (some of my wonderful offline clients) FAILED the quiz, i simply told them that they could download our free report that would teach them how to do proper article marketing (of course i included a few upsells inside this free report...)

And if they passed the quiz...well...nothing..they didn't need my help!

Anyway, thought it was a cool idea, and i'm feeling in a generous mood...

    An initial introductory screen in the flash file might improve participation levels. I can imagine consumer titles like diet would work equally well.


    70% is a passing grade at the schools I attended.

    Wish I could have consulted James Bond in deciding whether to Blend or Mix.

    Awesome quiz! It allowed me to review my knowledge about article marketing. I experience the same thing with the piled up stuff on my hard drive, you'll never really know when you might stumble upon things that might prove to be useful to yourself & others.

    That's great! People naturally love to test their aptitude and knowledge about lots of things. I would offer them the ebook or something else if they pass the quiz anyway though.
