Hi Warriors!

Just need a suggestion or two from you guys.

Is there any kind of help desk site I can use rather than sending my subscribers to my own email address or the one at my site? (I'd prefer not to use the one at "info@mydomain.com")

Is there a site I can register for and use their help desk platform?

Thanks again!

Jamie

Do what we did. Install a script on a site and off you go. There are several free scripts available as well as paid ones. If you have web hosting with CPanel, there are scripts in Fantastico.

We registered a separate domain name just for our Help Desk and it works very well for us.

Thanks Neil, I'll have a look in to that.

      We use hesk.com

It looks like you have to pay on the site but it's actually free if you leave the "powered by hesk" link.

Just go to the "Download" tab rather then the " Buy Now" tab.

....or Buy a copy as it's well priced.

We like it over osTicket due to the knowledgebase functionality.

Hesk wins hands down for a great free solution to your problem. Been using it for years and had no problems at all. Check out my free site showing you how to install it over at: Create Your Helpdesk - Video Series ( shamless plug I know ).

Guess it kind of depends how much support you have to offer and what it's for. Hesk sounds like a good solution. As we make and sell software and have staff we had to go with a bigger solution - used to be Tender Support but now we use UserVoice which we find simpler, plus it let's users vote on new ideas to help guide our development plans.

Like I say, I guess it depends on what your business is!
