Outsourcing! Where Do You Go??

oDesk.com is a pretty regular one for me but I have heard of people using Elance, Fivver, and even the Warriors For Hire Section of this forum.

There are hundreds (or thousands?) of places to outsource nearly everything in your life or online.

My question to you, is where do you outsource to? (The smaller or nichier it is the better!) :p

One of the easiest ways is to ask a friend you trust for a recommendation - that way you know you can rely on the person they recommend.

Otherwise I would personally use Warriors for Hire or oDesk. Or someone who's blog I read who I know offers the service (then you already know how they write, for example).

That's actually a really good idea! Never thought of checking out blog owners personal services.

On another point, yes Fiverr is great too! I was like a kid in a candy store when I first discovered that site!

I only use Fiverr and Warriors for Hire. I like supporting Warriors so I try and always go there. Only thing I really buy from Fiverr is ebook covers.

I've outsourced writing to The Content Authority. Some of the articles are OK, some pretty average. I think the key thing is to give the writers clear instructions they can follow, and to choose your keywords carefully.

Fiverr was bad for me because the gift section had so many cool things. I bought two shirts and a lightsaber hairpin my first day there.

I used to offer writing services on there but it just isn't worth it with WF clients and Textbroker. When I did I got a lot of business though.

I use it for simple graphic jobs like ebook covers and banners.

Besides odesk, I have outsourced too freelancer.com

Let me tell you that I have received more than I bargained for. The outsourcers were very professional, knowledgeable and at a great price.

I definitely recommend you check them out

I find oDesk to be a lot cheaper than eLance. Have been using oDesk for a while now with pretty good success.

I always use Fiverr to outsource small tasks (read: microtasks).

I have never used any other freelance site.

I love both Elance and oDesk. Have hired out several, smaller projects on Fiverr, but it's more novelty stuff and things that aren't as important.

    Try outsourseo.com

It's a managed pool of freelancers in the IM industry. Think odesk or warrior, then add a GREAT BIG quality filter.

You would also be wise to read the thread: Outsourcing- first lesson learned. Don't waste your time and money on poor quality, which is the biggest risk in outsourcing your tasks.

I have had terrible experience with Odesk....bad communication, missed communication. It seems most of them on there like to line up work and squeeze things in when they can.

Fiverr is limited to $5 and by the time you line up a few of them to get done what you need done, half of them have failed in some manner.

I needed a solution and made my own clone. It has 2,000 uniques a day with good quality SEO firms posting. They have better flexibility for pricing as they can offer jobs for up to $20.

Check out my link if your looking to outsource for article writing of the highest quality. You can try the 2-5 dollar per-article guys, but they will almost certainly farm it out to crap writers who barely speak English. I'm your guy if your looking for top-notch stuff.

    i love odesk, but becareful:
when you post a job: be specific:
describe job and tell them you will get paid when job is done.
tell them you want someone that returns e=mails fast
some will rush you to finish the job.
