Affiliate Marketing Using URL Redirect

hello Warriors,

I need your views on marketing affiliate products with url redirection straight to merchant's sales page from my ezinearticles articles.

Has anybody used this method? And is there any effectiveness in using this method?

    Don,

    Affiliate marketing is not my specialty, but my own mentor is an affiliate marketer and suggests using the redirect in conjunction with masking the affiliate link at the vendor page so that it appears as your own site. I am not sure how she does this, as I don't do affiliate marketing, but do a search for 'link cloakers' and you'll probably find more than a few good ones.

      Hi

      I do this quite regularly, for one product that I have no site for it's all I do - I just wanted to test out whether I could sell the product before I threw up a site and haven't as yet got around to putting the site up.

      I've had some really financially successful results across 3-4 products. Some I have sites for and some I don't.

      I've even experimented with one direct link and one link back to my site in the resource box.

      Whatever you do or don't do, you have to weigh it up against backlinks for your site/future value of your site etc., but so long as you know the pros and cons, then it's one more to add or take away from the business model.
