For those who have advertised on the WF top page, how valuable was it?

Hey all!

I'm considering a large ad campaign in the future for a product utilizing WF's 781px Ã-- 76px "text" advertisement at the top of these forums (the blue/black text ones by the 'Ads By Warrior Forum').

I was wondering if anybody who has advertised on that '$100 for 1 day of 1/10th WF forum capacity' banner might be so kind as to provide some feedback?

Feedback such as:

  • How long did you run your banner (1 day maybe)?
  • How many clicks did you get?
  • How many actual product unit sales did you get?
  • What was the product $$ that was generated by that banner?

I'm just trying to get a feel for how valuable it is worth. It seems like it could be VERY valuable, so I'm just trying quantitatively figure out what exactly "VERY valuable" means.

Thanks in advance!!!

With the amount of traffic WF has, it's not surprising its worth it

Over a week solid and then intermittently after that
    • How many clicks did you get?
      Didn't track it
    • How many actual product unit sales did you get?
Thousands of dollars while ad was running
    • What was the product $$ that was generated by that banner?
      Google News Info Product/and service

So far there really hasn't been to many real responses, such as how much you spend, and how much you earned. I was figuring that 100s + (if not thousands?) of people have used that new banner feature, and therefore, there would be sizable amount of positive feedback.

A huge strength of the WarriorForum is the immense amount of feedback people give based on their experiences with so many situations. To me, personally, this is probably the most valuable thing here, which is why I love WFers! So.... where is all that feedback one would think exists with those top banner ads?

    Cheers!

Not even a small amount of the people who had advertised with a banner have provided input. Perhaps they don't want to divulge their campaign. I stated I spent hundreds to make thousands. That's good enough for me. Profit.

It really is going to depend on the offer. There are offers I click on and offers that I'm not interested in and I'm sure that's true for most.
