Going good but need advice on recruiting affiliates

My website SEAL Grinder PT is kicking butt after the bin laden shooting - lots of traffic and sales!

Affiliate sales are up too- loving it

I want to take it to next level and recruit more sub affiliate to sell through my main affiliate ad. I have recruited 2 - i want more

I was thinking of starting a blog for my sub affiliates and the public where I show how I made the money and also critique others (they would need to sign up as my sub affilaite) blogs and websites and tell them how to make $$

Is this a good method? Can anyone give better method to recruit and build better sales force? I have great (basic) tips and want to share but want to build sales force also

Any advice?

  • What do you mean by sub affiliates. Do you meal that you joined as an affiliate and then you can recruit affiliates under you and get a portion of their sales?

Yes- should I start a blog to give tips and critique others - or is there a better way to communicate and recruit?

I did set up a squeeze page

Sales are up and I want to expand!

The main thing is you need to show conversion rates overall. It's alright showing what you've done, and how it worked, and the money you made, and this is important too, but it should come after just showing simple conversion stats. Affiliates want to know their commission %, what that means in $, and the overall conversion rate, then the conversion rate for different forms of traffic - article marketing, email marketing results, blogging, ppc.... with proof, then they need to know the overall EPC - either the per click average they will make, or the amount over 100 clicks.

Also, if you want to be taken seriously then you need to lose the external ads on your page - you have your own product, but youre also advertising other similar products, on an affiliate basis... this is a major leak, if an affiliate was promoting you they would be sending you traffic, but then you're making money off them if people click your ads and convert and you cut the affiliate out - this is a major leak and with this like this you won't get any serious affiliates... so just evaluate where the profit is, and if its better to drive your own traffic with these ads on, or to remove them and get more affiliates... hopefully...

Of course once you prove conversion rate then the endless task of reaching out to affiliates and existing site owners starts, one by one

    Good luck!

I do have my own product (Pull up E book) but all of the ads on my site are for different products. The main ad where I make the most money is through a fitness company that sells equipment - the other is protein powder. I dont sell any equipment or supplements (products I own and market). That is where I am trying to recruit in sub affilliates is to sell those 2 products.

I dont see any harm in selling products that are similar. Look at any big seller (Walmart, Publix, etc.) They have their brand and right next to it they sell Kelloggs Frosted Flakes. They are a more sophisticated model. I dont see at all why an online seller cant promote several products that are similar but still slightly different.

Am I missing something? Or do other online sellers put on blinders and only sell their product. Imagine Kroger grocery store only selling their product? huh?
