Do You Go To Live Events?

Hey Guys,

How many of you go to Live
IM Events?

I have met many great people at Events
like JV alert and Michael Penland Events

I don't want to mention any names here
because I don't want to leave anybody out

My first Event Was Yanik Silver's Birthday
Bash (anybody remember that one)

Many of the Big JV deals you see are
happening because of Personal Relationships
between people that first met at Live Events

People do business with those they
know like and trust

You can also build good relationships here on The
Warrior Forum and on Facebook and Twitter

I try to make a point of meeting at least one new
person a day. (Either though Skype or on the Phone)

The main thing is to be a friend first. Don't try to
"Pitch" anybody

Don't think of other people in the Marketing Industry as
competition. Think of them as possible partners and
friends

Hope to see you at a Live Event Soon!

  • I've been to loads of IM events all over the world and probably met over 1000 warriors in that time.

It never occured to me to try do anything other than make friends and JV partners. And drink beer.
  • The first real money I ever spent on an IM product was 'Instant Internet Profits' by Yanik Silver.

I have to say that when I finally got that one notebook of material (only printed on one side of the page), I was pretty PO'd, but looking back now it really opened my eyes to a lot of new things, including defining 'IM' for me, so it wound up being worth every cent.

My first live IM event was a Yanik seminar, as well. Paid a fairly big amount of money for way back then but, again, worth every penny.

I wonder what ever happened to him?

Willie Crawford has one coming up (if it hasn't happened already) that I would really like to attend.

    • Yep that's going to be on the Beach
in the Florida panhandle in June i believe

Willie is a friend of mine who I DIDN'T
      first meet at an Event

I was on his list and wanted to meet him
so I sent him a few emails but never heard back

Finally I saw that he had his mailing address on the
bottom of his email so sent him a Greeting card in
      the mail

he called me a few days later and we have been friends
      ever since

  • Not here in India. No live events are conducted here. You have a good chance. you can take advantage of those events.
    Good luck.

    • I've seen quite a few Warriors from India on the board. Maybe you guys need to fill a need.
    • You're probably wrong - I'm sure there would be some.

      If not - start one......
    • or if you dont have, you can ask someone who will go there (I mean in another country) they can broadcast it in web and you can watch it in live mode, if you want that seminar so much. its free.

for example someone goes to seminar in US, and you want to got but you are in India, just ask someone to go and take his laptop, he will stream it for example here - camstreams.com and you will watch it.

  • If you have time, I do recommend attending live IM events which can increase your contacts network.
