Making a Facebook Fanpage

FBML support was discontinued a while back. Fan pages need to be done with iFrames now. There are several places where you can use a 'point and click' type interface to create fan pages and have them hosted for you (free or cheap) if you don't want to learn how to do the iFraming part yourself.

Try TabSite.com or FanPageEngine.com as just two of the many options out there.

If you have not done this before I can recommend using a fanpage building platform as there is too much to learn, plus Facebook are still developing the business side of FB so if you do it yourself you will need to keep in constant contact with the development section of FB to ensure you keep up to date.

I actually did a blog post about this the other day. I'm not a Facebook fanpager, but I do know a little about it. At the link there is some useful info and links as well as free scripts and ebooks. Creating Successful Facebook Fan Pages. Hope this helps.

BTW, I haven't used the iFrame or the LikeList script so I have no hands on knowledge about it at all.

It's pretty simple really.

Just go to /pages/create.php and choose what type of page it will be. Then if you want a dedicated tab search STATIC HTML and add that to your page. You'll be able to edit everything right in front of you from there!

I wish it was that easy, your suggestions makes it sound simple when it isn't, try listing the other 12 steps needed to correctly publish to facebook and have all the elements correctly set up.
