How to target the right people...

Hi,

I write articles to get traffic. I don't know if I am writing for right people.
I feel that my articles are wrong. My articles have 2,000 visitors but only few clicks on my link. Actually, I am confused and I don't know what to do.

Please, give me some advice.

Thanks in advance!

all You need to do is to find a forum in your niche (if it allows signature will be better), and find people that are asking for help about something you are offering. You'd bet that if they can find the answer on your link, they'll buy it.

    Or...you can try Yahoo! answer.

    Good luck.

It may be that your articles are attracting the right people but your call to action (to get them to click through) in your resource box isn't effective enough. You need to entice them to click on your link somehow, with the promise of further, better information, perhaps?

It is also possible that you are giving them exactly what they need to know in the article, so there is no need for them to click through. You need to drip them part of the information that you have for them and make them click your link for the rest.

My opinion is you should "tell" your readers to click on the link provided by you.
For example, you can put arrow pointing to that link or you may change the font of your link which will make it outstanding among others.

    my 2 cents

    Hi N.M,

If you are writing a review for certain products or services you want to make sure you are doing the following:

1# Use buying keywords: Those looking to buy a certain product or service usually type things like "Should I buy" "Where to get/buy", etc.

2# Encouraging purchases: Near the end of your reviews you want to make sure that you are encouraging the reader to purchase. Telling them they could possibly be missing out on something good is a nice way to entice them without forcing the product or service down their throats so to speak.

3#Complete Reviews: I have said this to countless article writers. Write complete reviews, talk about the good AND bad. Doing this makes your review gold to the reader. Telling the reader potential pitfalls makes them take your review seriously because you are willing to divulge unattractive information. To sum it up they are more likely to trust your reviews than someone else's.

4# Offer a deal: If the product or service is on sale (even if it's not), word the article correctly. For example "get it here for only", This phrase instills sale, cheap, deal into the mind of the reader and with further help you get the sale.

Hopefully this helps you accomplish what you are trying to do.
