Hey, I'm new to affiliate marketing and want to build an e-mail list. Is it possible to include side opt-in in wordpress? Additionaly I want to set up a seperate page and include it there also. But how can I implement the squeeze page into wordpress? I already got a theme and different squeeze page templates etc. How can I include the index.html within a wordpress page/widget?

Pretty new myself (but have been ingesting loads of info)Do you have an autoresponder service I'm with Get Response, loads of other warriors are with aweber, there are others. Design the optin box with your autoresponder service, and then copy/paste the code into a sidebar widget. Not sure about your other question though.

Well you can install an opt-in in your word press but you require a help from a programmer. I have one more idea which I haven't tried myself, you can check with word press whether they can help in this matter.

If you want to build a list using Wordpress blog you can either:
    a) put your opt-in box in the sidebar.
    b) install a pop-up script which asks users to sign-up. (quite effective)
    c) create a new page in your Wordpress, add your headline, copy, bulletpoints and other necessary elements to it. Then below or above copy add an arrow (image) which points to the right (your sidebar) where users can enter their email address to get their free stuff.

Option C for me gets the best results. Also if you'll decide to advertise with Adwords your quality score also should be high

If I put the opt-in on the sidebar I'll have to use the the boxes from aweber right? Can I customize them a little (add buttons maybe) or do I have to put them in 1:1? And is it possible to load a custom template (index.html) in a wordpress page?

    1. For the sidebar: just copy & paste your form into a plain text widget.

    2. If you have a html template file for the squeeze page - you can easily use it in your WP, just get this (no optin) free guide:

I must admit, Istvan, your guide is probably one of the easiest to read and understand. Just One Read and I get a grip of what you are teaching.

Keep up the good work, friend.

      William.
