Getting traffic to a PLR site

Hi
How do you get traffic to a new PLR site? You can't write articles for article directories since they frown on PLR. My site is still new, so I don't think I'm valuable partner to link with other PLR sites.

Any advice appreciated!

    Well, a common way people gain traffic for PLR sites is through WSOs. You can offer some free articles in exchange for an opt-in. This can build your list of people yous end updates to. I haven't tried this yet since my PLR shop doesn't have enough packs up for me to want to spent money on a WSO, but it seems to be one of the most popular tactics.

    I would definitely offer a WSO. When I first started I had a few followers who were interested from my personal blog, but I got my first subscribers by putting together a complete PLR pack and giving it away in return for them giving me their email address. I did this once I already had around 10 article packs on my store website, and I did make a few sales of those packs when people checked out my site from the WSO. I then launched my first paid WSO very soon after and got the ball rolling with my PLR store. I definitely don't regret the way I did it, it worked very well considering nobody had even heard of my store

    Along with a WSO, you can also advertise your PLR store in your signature. Every time you post here on the forum, you put your links out there for others to see and click.

    You can also apply basic SEO practices to your site in order to get traffic from the search engines. Build a free blog or Squidoo lens with links pointing back to your site. Use specific anchor text that you want your pages to rank for (such as "Weight Loss PLR" or "Health PLR").

    Establishing an affiliate program is also good way to gain more traffic since others will promote your products for you.
