Here's some traffic ideas you could use-

Instead of sending DM's on Twitter, just tweet about it. Give away something for free like a PDF report, and promote your email list with that. From my experience most people don't even read all of their DM's on Twitter because of all the spam. Just work on creating a free giveaway with no sign up obligation, then craft an attention-grabbing tweet.
YouTube video responses. Make videos about the dating niche (just get ideas from articles or your giveaways) and upload them as video responses to semi-popular videos on YouTube in your niche. You can also use Twiends.com or ViewTubeTrain.com to jump-start views on your videos.
Write some articles and try to get them posted on SargeNation.com which is like the Digg of the dating niche.
Comment on related blogs- Don't spam but mention your website or one of your giveaways.
Also check out Fiverr.com. You'll find some good services there now and then. Some people promise to get your content on the first page of Digg or '1,000 likes on StumbleUpon'. I've never tried them and they sound too good to be true, but if you have $5 or $10 to spare it couldn't hurt to try some of these out. (well maybe it could- just make sure they won't get your site banned anywhere!)

1. Post on forums in your market, and have a link to your offer in your sig file.

2. Post comments on popular blogs in your market. you want to try and be one of the first 3 comments.

3. Blog for traffic. My free video (the link is in my sig) will show you how i was able to generate 2,800+ visitors in one day by blogging. All without spending a dime!

Try to use social media and other free traffic generation strategies.

In order to use it with any type of paid advertising you would need to have a strong funnel to allow you to turn a positive ROI.

PPV and FB are good ideas...

Before you waste the money...you have to change that headline...

The red caught my eyes, and I didn't even know what it was about.

Try something like this:

3 Guides To Help Save Your Relationship. Fill Out This Form For 3 100% FREE Guides, And Turn Your Relationship Around Today!
guides, or books, or ebooks, I would split test all 3 of those terms

and no 'get instant access'

Try:

"Yes, Send Me My 3 Guides"

or

"Yes, Give Me My Free Guides"

Traffic is step 2 after having a high converting landing page, I hope these help.

Thanks for following Simon, I followed back.

As far as Facebook Ads and PPV, I don't have direct experience with either. Which is unfortunate since I'm an IM consultant! Lol, but one of my clients just ran a FB ad campaign and last time I talked to him he said he was spending $200+/day and he was going to pull the plug because it wasn't worth it. Of course there are many factors and I didn't check out his ads.

PPV could work, I'd start out with less than your $100 budget though. I know you're probably eager to start building your list, I've been there multiple times. But you should test out free traffic first and find our your conversion percentages before trying paid traffic. The above comment has some good tips on improving your squeeze page.

I really think Twitter can be a quick source of free traffic for you. Do you have a webcam? I can increase your following to 2,500 TARGETED within 3 days in exchange for a video testimonial, I'm always looking for testimonials for my porfolio site. I'll send you a DM on Twitter with details (can't PM yet on here).

Souldja, as a start, change the site background color! It overwhelmed me and hurt my eyes, made me want to get out of there. Remove the optin form from right below the headline, make it a 2 column website and put the optin to the top right.

Redesign and rewrite the copy so that everything is above the fold, don't tell visitors what they are going to get, tell them how they will FEEL after they get it.

Then seek out those with email lists of responsive subscribers and do solo emails to them. It will cost a little, but the traffic will be more focused and responsive.

You are on the right track, keep experimenting, don't give up. Good Luck!

Some great ways to get traffic to your site or blog is to write on other blogs in your niche. Also you can submit and post on social networking sites like facebook, twitter and stumbleupon.

I have a file of 200+ ways of traffic and every few months I find new ideas some are junk some are fantastic. Try new ideas then save the ones that work and outsource the work. Good luck.

Social Media is best. With what you did at twitter, why don't you tweet it instead of sending message. And also try to comments on blogs. Join forum like here at WF.

Do a good Classifiend posting either facebook or twitter better if both.

Then establish a good online reputation, be active in forums related to your niche just participate and exchange ideas. People who will like what your talking will be following you which will then lead them to visit your site.

Then make your site more visible thats the best way to have traffic.

Due to your niche, I think niche blog commenting works well for traffic. When you're commenting on blogs, Put some eye catching word or phase (explains your offer) at "Name" section instead to your real name.

What I think you need to do is develop backlinks to your page. I just did a search and noticed that you have very little links going back to the site. Try blog commenting, starting profiles on different domains, article writing and means of link building to develop your site preference.

If you have a few targeted keywords in mind, then you could try the PPC.

Hey Simon! Looks to me, you have too many words on your page. Try to keep it clean, short and simple. This will help improve conversions.

There is a lot of free traffic sources. Don't fall into PPC or FB ads right away.

Hey,

I agree with the above post, there is a little bit too much going on with the page, try and keep it real clean and to the point, remember the whole point is they enter their name and email so they find out more at a later date.

As for your traffic, great ideas above, I think your blog commenting would do well as it makes sense, but really i think videos on Youtube going after keywords within your niche will do you well.

Dont forget to have a strong call to action within your video i.e to get more you must go to ........ and include the link in the forst part of the description.

As stated above, using the videos as replies to popular vids in your niche will do you well

but abit too simple. nothing eye catching.. its too white. nothing pops up, nothing stand out.

i would just click cancel.. =)
make ur call to action stand out more.
and make more thought provoking thoughts.

Cant satisfy your wife?! Feel useless?! soemthing like that.

not just "want to spice up ur life" or some lame thing. haha
