Suggestions for an out of job middle-level economist/analyst?
This is my very first post in the Warrior Forum.
I've been following this forum as an observer from quite awhile and only became a registered member recently.
So here's my story: I recently voluntarily resigned from my job as a middle level economist/analyst for a bank (not in the USA). It was very hard for me to make that decision mainly because I actually liked the job, but at the same time, it was taking too big a toll on my personal and family life. Too much time was spent constantly reading and keeping up to date with the financial markets, all for keeping "the powers that be" up-to-date. And please don't get me started on the salary.
Having been glued for hours to the internet for work research, I had this feeling (or calling) that I can actually make a living from the Net. Alas, with some savings in hand, and with the belief that "there's life out there", I made a leap of faith and handed in my papers.
Doing research on internet businesses though, I've found that there are just way too many models to consider. And I've realised that with too much to chew on a time, you become inundated with the data and usually get stuck. "Analysis paralysis" as some call it.
I know enough in theory about affiliate marketing as well as the benefits of creating your own products. As much as I'd love to create my own Warrior Special Offer (WSO) one day, I'm afraid that my economics/finance background won't give me an edge in the internet marketing field for WSOs.
So I'm turning to "the knowledgeable and kind ones" within this super Warrior Forum to ask for some guidance on the path I could probably take to maximise my skills in making a living online.
Many thanks in advance and I appreciate all your constructive advise.
