Hi Warriors,

If you have your own product to sell and you would like to get army of affiliates - what is the best Affiliate Program besides Clickbank ?
Thanks for sharing.

There are several other networks like Paydotcom, RAPBank, DigiResults, Plimus but none of them probably have as many affiliates as Clickbank. You also have the option of listing your product on more than one network to gain maximum exposure.

I initially sold my first product through clickbank, but paydotcom is a much better option for the vendor, as you have more control and the money arrives in your paypal account the same day and not like clickbank, were you have to wait sixty days to get paid by cheque and then four cheques later before the money can go straight to your bank account.

Rapbank less competition but still productive. If your product is not at the top of the niche you submit it too affiliates are gonna have a tough time promoting it if they cannot find it. On the other hand if you can manage to get it there than no-one has the sheer army of affiliates as Clickbank.

I think it's the size of clickbank that gives it so much reach affiliate wise. I have a friend who's product is listed through the smaller networks listed above and still has generated very few sales. I'm betting with clickbank he would be doing much better.

I think that one needs to consider the "immediate" / Instant payment of receiving payments via PayPal - and as that relates to the affiliate base that will be ultimately pushing sales to your product.

In addition - 'fees' play a significant role nowadays... lower the affiliate and vendor fees from 'listing' to even affiliate 'payout' also play a role.

The size of the affiliate base is only one type of comparison. The "reach" of that affiliate base on a significantly quick level is as well very important. Not to mention 'tax ramifications' thereof -

As a result,... put lighty (yes, with a bias - naturally, as Co-Founder of RAP Bank along with Erin) - RAP Bank tops them all.... for the following [beyond just affiliate base size]:

    * Distribution counts as well - with approx. 1,000+ plugins installed on blogs, which are rotating featured, keyword-based, newly released products from RAP Bank - onto their WP blogs, etc... the traffic is distributed and received instantly from all these outlets, both at approval time as well as on an ongoing basis...
    * Accessibility to what's 'hot' and performing well reports (one of best kept secrets to RAP Bank)
    * Instanty Payout to affiliates.... no waiting 2-4 weeks for minimum payouts, etc...
    * Payments made right into affiliate/vendor's paypal accounts instantly... (no chaining causing unsure tax implications to either parties... and such)
    * Daily/Weekly emails of new products that have come out overnight/over-past-week
    * NO FEES! on payouts for affiliates
    * no fees to have vendors list products on RAP Bank (with the exception of our automated process called List-N-Earn (* List N Earn*by*RAP Bank) - but even then it's a one-time fee of $10/20 (free to upgraded members of RAP Bank)

Without turning it into sales letter, I *do* believe that RAP Bank tops them all with the above in mind as well... Not to mention all the perks (beyond promoting just one product) to affiliates of RAP Bank - especially when they upgrade to VendorsPlus.

    But hope this helps too...

Many out there are good (similar to clickbank) but Clickbank is still better or maybe the best.

    I wouldn't recommend CJ :S

Either go for RAPBank or Plimus.

      Hey Ryant,

Yeah rapbank is good but unless you have some real issues with them I would recommend you go with clickbank

But like that, and everything else in life, the decision is totally yours bud.....

      Kindest,

      Sean

If I was selling a product and wanted to join Affiliate Networks, I would join as many as I could. The more affiliate networks you leverage equals more product evangelists, and thus sales.

In addition, I think Commission Junction requires your product to be making at least $50K a month online.

    ClickBank
    Commission Junction

I'm getting ready to launch my first product on CB, actually, it's in the approval process now. I've been trying to wrap my head around submitting the product to a slew of different affiliate networks.

Now if I were to submit this to 10 different networks, doesn't that mean I'm going to have to have 10 different landing pages on 10 different domains? One for each network... that's the only way I see that this works...any different ideas?

That's actually a really good question. I'm in the same position as you and would like to know if anyone else here has listed with so many different affiliate networks? Could we just do a different sales page on the same domain for each network?

Clickbank is the king of information products. Commission Junction also carries other types of products like insurance, debt consolidation, etc. But Clickbank has a great many potential affiliates who are part of the network. It is therefore a wonderful place to find thousands of people to help sell your product. This is where the "big boys" sell their products.
