  • I personally make around 5 sales on these gig sites per day... But that's really not a lot of money..

The money is in the upsells and continuous email marketing.

    • Interesting will fiverr allow the sellers to capture the clients email addresses? If so then its definitely a good idea, it would create continued business with people that like your work
    • How do you do that when, if they catch you providing any other way to contact you ( email, website ) than their own PM system, they ban you?

  • i believe u cant get emails from fiverr but instead ask for email contact then add them to ur email list...

    • you can not exchange email addresses, skype, etc on fiverr. it will pickup on it and give you warning, and then suspend you. however, there are ways around this obviously by creatively giving your email address. fiverr knows people will bypass their service and pay people outside fiverr. i dont like that feature, if im paying someone, i should be able to give them my email address!
  • You could always make videos of your gigs and put them up on YouTube and other video sharing services. Fiverr lets you upload the videos on the gigs themselves, too. You can promote your Fiverr account the same way you would promote anything else - article marketing, links from other sites, ads, etc.

  • Do you have your gigs on other fiverr clones so you can make more money? I have listed all my gigs on other sites and have sold the gigs on every single one...plus I list them for $10, 15 or 20 and make more bucks

    • I created a version which aims to do a lot more marketing for registered members. I set up a special Squidoo Lens for people to join, created two LinkedIn Groups and a RSS Newsfeed with member details. I don't expect to make any money from the Mini Job Store, but it is fun trying to market the site.

  • Videos are a geat idea, really important for fiverr. How many gigs are illustrated with a crappy little low resolution clipart image that has little to do with the actual offering?

Post a link to examples of your work.

Also you could post in forums with a link in your signature.

  • use lots of keywords when you tag your gigs
    • [1] reply
    • Yeah, that's a good idea. If there are similar gigs to yours, check your most popular competitor's tags and description. Also don't forget to bookmark your gigs on as many site as possible.
  • I agree with SocialMediaOwls, putting your gig on other Fiverr clones has worked for me, although I have had more sales on Fiverr itself.

My tip is: Don't just wait for people to come to you, use the 'buyer requests' at the side of the pages. It's the buyers way of telling you what they need. I've used this feature so many times to generate my own sales. Be proactive!

    • How are you using that feature? It looks like when you suggest a gig it has to be approved. Are you suggesting the types of gigs you are offering and they are getting approved to run in the side pages?

  • You can:

    1. Post your gigs on other fiverr alternative sites.
    2. Keyword optimize your gigs to show up within search engine results.
    3. Re-post your old gigs that no longer get traffic.
    4. Make your gig title/headlines stand out above the rest.

    Best,
    Shane

    • Shane,

Can you let me know what other fiverr alternative sites are so that i can
post my gigs over there as well.

      S Husain
    • I agree with shane, but my advice, Avoid re-posting, it helps no one, if u already made sales, your feedback will be lost, if u r re-posting something existed, probably something will get deleted.

Keep it simple, expose your gig, in fiverr searching with a keyword is not your best solutions because the search engine will display a million other gig.

If your gig is new, give a higher advantage to your visitors than other sellers on fiverr.
  • From my experience being a seller myself. All I did was give them an url shortcut included to their zip file of their work. And to presell, on the completed work tab i'll say:

"Thanks for the gig. Attached are the files. And for you being awesome, I included a free gift on ______"

Here im adding personality and sending the new client to my sales funnel.

    • Hey that's a great tip! Thanks for sharing I will try that!!
  • I put the link to my Fiverr gig in forums' singnatures, that will gives you some traffic to your gigs.
  • i would recommend create multiple gig for the same service in order to get higher exposure.

This is what I did and guess what,I get a couple of gig ordered in a day,not a big money though.

I think you can try this trick,it might work for you.

    Cheers!
  • Try to think as an Internet Marketer...What would you do if you had to advertise your website and get more traffic?

    Google Adwords?
    Forum posting(signature)?
    Facebook?
    Youtube videos?

The same goes here...Try to promote your service to the right people asking for it.You may never make millions out of it but 300$ extra per month is NOT bad at all, isn' it?

  • I've seen Fiverr sellers successfully promote their gigs through blog commenting. Just make it a meaty and meaningful comment, not a pure ad for your gig.

Remember, everybody wants to find the best providers on Fiverr.

    • Good point Fluffy, thanks
  • My problem is just the opposite. I offer BMR posts on fiverr and sometimes I wake up to 30 new orders, 4 to 6 articles each. If I was selling an ebook or something, it would be great. But I now have to complete all those articles by deadline otherwise I get in trouble. So, I would like a feature to limit my orders for each day.
And I would love some more tips on how to get my fiverr customers to order from my website, I don't like their 20% fees too much.

    • What most sellers do is suspend their gig when their workload reaches max capacity. Under Seller > My Gigs, there's an Edit button to the right of your gig. Just choose Suspend.

It's better if you suspend it yourself, because if you get too far behind, Fiverr suspends it for you. That damages your rating.

  • If you have popular website promote there.

Lot of twitter followers, one of them may be interested in your gig.

And why not use facebook then?
    • [1] reply
    • Via your social media accounts, blogging, press releases, banner ads, anchor text links, etc.

Hint: use your own site as the link (with an advertising mention of Fiverr on it somewhere), though, in case your Fiverr ID is compromised or you run into tech issues, down time, etc. so you get all the traffic first at your own site pages.
  • Shane,

It will be very helpful if you can PM me.

    Thanks
  • Hi- I would suggest you to add a video to your gig because fiverr itself says that " Add a video to gain more exposure "

Plus also choose right keywords with your gig because sometimes wrong keywords make things go in water.

Be descriptive when detailing your gig and use eye catching headlines

  • Your work is the best promotion for you. I am getting daily 15 to 20 orders from Fiverr even on holidays and mostly from my returning buyers. The reason is that even completing more than 300 orders, I have 100% rating from my Buyers. And how i achieve this is because i deliver my work professionally and timely and with the bonus what I advertise. So in my point of view, if you deliver quality work and promptly, your will be automatically promoted in Fiverr Community. Give the best of you and you will get best from Fiverr.. My 2 cent.
  • Idrees made an excellent point.

The better your testimonials are, the more orders you get. I've had people order from me without even needing my gig - simply because my testimonials were so 'amazing' that they had to see for themselves what all the fuss was about.

    • But Danielle the thing i just start now how can i get the testimonials. I need to know how to promote my gigs to target market any idea. for that i said on my last post my professin and the gig. Any help Danielle

  • for getting an good exposure you've got to work really hard.. you could build a service blog/website that metion the services that you are providing in fiverr then drive a good amount of traffic to it from YouTube, Facebook etc...
  • Every time you sell a gig, offer another gig for free and ask them to leave you a testimonial.

Once you get some good testimonials and feedback, you will see that your gig will appear higher on search results.

Also, being a top seller really helps.. I am not sure how many gigs you need to sell for that.

    • I have some of my Fiverr gig videos on one of my blogs -- and get traffic that way. You've reminded me I need to put the rest of them there.

I need to put up more Fiverr gigs. Remember, you can have 20. Even if they're stupid gigs, they're still a chance for you to be seen. Some of my gig sales came from people who first clicked on a different gig.

  • You can buy those LinkedIn postings... if you find the right Fiverr sellers

    Best Regards,
    vip-ip ...
  • it needs patience and persistence once your gig become popular and you have built a reputation on fiverr you will get lot of repeat business from the same people

i am getting lot of people for repeat business and i have never promote my gigs outside fiverr but i am still doing great and making very reasonable money on fiverr on weekly basis

you can place a link inside your gig description for more samples of your work which can be youtube video on your channel if people like your gig they will contact you directly via your youtube channel
i hope that helps let me know if you need more help
    thanks

Simple. Just post them on more sites. You can also use FiverrWay.
  • 1)create perfect gig that having high demand..
    2)Add video for your gig..
3)promote ur gig in social media websites like FB and Twitter..

Thats it.. You will get minimum of 4-5 sales/day..
  • Now got lots of sites to check out and other tips. I am trying to sell a few fiverr gigs (link building etc) to raise money for a dog shelter I support.
  • You may want to think about going another route rather than fiverr. I don't have much experience with them, but I do know it's getting pretty saturated and hard for people to get their gigs found. Maybe you should try advertising your services on your own website.

    • On my time on Fiverr I would say that even the newest people that have only just started are still making some serious money. You need to have a good gig for sure.
  • Have a really good Gig, and have exceptional customer service, and ASK for the feedback every frikken time. Build a customer list, and give people rewards for Word of Mouth marketing.
  • I would post your gigs here on the warrior forum or in your sig link.

There are lots of ways. I would also build a list and promote that way too.

More than one way to skin a cat as they say.
  • I'm a fiverr newbie, and I've been having issues exposing my gig as well, although I just launched it and I know that it is a work in progress.

After reading some of the points made on the post here. Ive already started promoting in this forum and others as well. I've also decided the best option it to try and promote the gig via twitter.

I was thinking of giving special free give-aways to my followers etc.... to help promote and gain more exposure.

Now more than ever I think that having a video for your gig is important. I'm looking into having someone from fiverr create me a catchy and fun video

Thanks to all on the thread that gave a piece of advice!
  • I checked some gigs on fiverr, they are getting 100 of orders daily. I dont know how they able to bring that much order daily. Please help me to bring lot of orders daily. I tried lot of things but never get order daily. So please guide me or show a way to get no of orders daily to my fiverr gig.
I hope, i will get good and best tips and technique to bring lot of orders daily to my fiverr gigs.

  • Try to promote your gigs on the Fİverr forum as well!

  • You cant throw a gig up on fiverr and expect to make sales immeaditely. There is still some promoting to be done. Bookmark your gig, build backlinks to it. And then post on IM forums and add a link to your signature, make sure it stands out. Start posting on forums, but dont spam.
  • fiverr gig rating is very important, you need exchange your gig with some body, if you are the new seller in the fiverr
  • Use YouTube and Twitter to promote your gigs here's one of my gigs after promoting them on YouTube.
  • Yeah, funny how Fiverr doesn't really gets you clients, you have to drive them to the website. Well, then I can drive them to my website, not to my gig, and I can charge them more! Woudln't that be better?
  • [DELETED]
  • Promoting a gig fiverr can be a challenge, you are selling a service so PPC campaign is not an options. Getting traffic to your profile is also a bad idea. I am sure you have to find a way to engage your client who demand your service. So I suggest you to make a new business account in Facebook and twitter, add your previous client, improve the quality of your work, I am sure your client will automatically share your service to their network.

  • Hi there

You could offer a gig then send the buyer to a link which is a optin box
