Be careful with your forum passwords

I've just been made aware that at least one post has been made here in my name (such as it is: sevenish) but I didn't make the one post I've found so far.

I've changed my password and created a ticket at the help desk, but I just wanted to warn others.

Best wishes and happy holidays,
Seven

Maybe the forum admin could track the post by the IP.

Probably. This happened to me on another forum a couple of months ago and the guy used a paid proxy service to make the posts. I tend to leave my machines on and browsers open for days at a time, but the Admins on the other forum were able to sort it all out.

Weird thing is that I was browsing the forum last evening during a late business conference but I didn't even see the thread until someone called my attention to it. The thread has since been deleted and I didn't have a chance to post to it after my discovery.

If it makes any difference, I hadn't changed my pw after having it reset by the system. I've changed it to my own now though.
